What Are Some Of Your WDW Traditions

We have two regular traditions:

- We always have dinner at Chef Mickey's with my Florida based family - all 10 of us.

- We always rent a boat, either at DTD or at our resort.

We have several restaurant traditions--dinner at 'Ohana, lunch at Le Cellier, breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse to name a few.

I always buy a Christmas ornament--usually from DTD.

I always compete with DH on Buzz Lightyear (I won twice last time!).

I always buy the pictures they take of you at the park entrances. I have quite a collection now!

I always ride the monorail just for the sake of riding it, even if I'm not going where it does.

I always buy some cookies from Downtown Disney. They used to be at the Gourmet Pantry, but last time they were at Goofy's Candy Co since Gourmet Pantry closed. They are delicious!

We try to make our last night a visit to Epcot and World Showcase. Watch Illuminations from the Italy area. Afterward sit down and watch people leave and listen to the old Tapestry of Nations music. Then slowly walk around World Showcase, walk through Mouse Gear and we are done. We have probably done this 10 out of the last 12 visits.

It isn't the first day or night I arrive, however, I always attend Candlelight Processional at 6:45, followed by dinner at Rose & Crown - hopefully with a patio table to enjoy Illuminations and then a lazy walk out of EPCOT to end that day.

there are a few for us:
first day just walk around the MK
dinner at narcoossee's
4th of july on the shore lines of the GF
last nite at the MK with spectro and fireworks

Each multi-park, multi-day visit:

First park: Magic Kingdom
First ride: Space Mounain
Last park: Epcot
Last ride: Spaceship Earth
Last show: Illuminations (a magical way to end a wonderful vacation!!!):)

This is kind of stupid and strange but I'll tell it anyway. Fist let me say we started this on our many trips to Disneyland and then continued it at WDW last month on our first visit. We always watch the movie Mrs. Doubtfire in our room as we fall asleep. Being as how we are all exhausted after a long day at the parks it takes many nights to see the whole thing. Don't know how this started but now I cannot bear to watch that movie anywhere but on a Disney vacation!

Our must is to have breakfast at Crystal Palace. This is our all time favorite breakfast place.

We always ride Dumbo first at the MK.

We eat at least one meal at Beaches & Cream - and we always get the HUGE sundaes for dessert.

We sample our way around Epcot's World Showcase restaurants.

We have some pre-WDW traditions:

DD accuses us of being Disney-psychos as we can happily tell you where we'll be eating lunch on any given day...even if the trip is a year away. So, our tradition is to ask her years, months, weeks in advance, "What are you wearing on the plane?" to which she always replies, "Nothing" Asking what she is going to wear to any given park receives the same response.

We tend to pretend that the train at the Orlando airport is ushering us into a pleasure planet - rather than just a tourist location. There's just something about that train...

We buy a new "Unofficial Guide" every year - even if we know we aren't going.

We definately listen to Disney CD's to get into the right mental groove.

And we tend to see "Hidden Mickeys" in the spots on our bananas or the browned parts of our biscuits.

Part of our tradition is that we always eat at Gueridelli (sp?), we always watch the Disney cartoons at night before we go to sleep, and we eat at the Crystal Palace at MK in the morning.
