I'll start,we always arrive on a Sunday and that night we go to 7:15 HDDR and do hayride after it.First park we go to is MK,we always have a meal at House of Blues,Mama Melrose's and LeCellier.It is our tradition since 1992 to go to first part of December and go to MVMCP do a CP Dinner package see Osborne Lights.Go to resorts and see holiday decorations.TRY and I stress TRY to beat DW at Buzz Lightyear.Last night we close out MK and wipe away a tear or two.What are some of yours would love to hear them.::yes:: :wave2:

:D We always took a picture of the kids on the wall in front of the flowers shaped like Mickey and we put them all together in one picture frame. The frame also includes a picture of me at Disneyland in 1969. Now that the kids are in college DW and I get out picture taken there and add it to the others.:D

We always go straight to MK. We each get to choose what ride we want to do first and those are the first four we do. We always do a character breakfast before the park opens. This trip we are each picking a country in WS to snack in. We'll see how that goes. Oh, and when we are on splash mountain, dh,ds and dd have to raise up their arms and yell "splash mountain" when they go down the drop!:)

Whenever we're in Epcot, we have to stop for an afternoon break at the Espresso Cafe near the fountain, have a mochalatte and dessert out on the patio and watch the fountain.

Most often it is late afternoo/early evening when we arrive. Everytime but once we have gone to Downtown Disney -what a way to get into the Disney spirit!

Also, we ALWAYS go to MK first and ALWAYS have a Casey's hotdog for lunch on Day 1

When we arrive around 8 am ( we drive up for Fort Lauderdale) we have to either eat breakfast at Spoodles (the Italian is the greatest) or eat on the boardwalk from the bakery. I Love Spoodles and DH love the Bakery. So we split it. One trip the bakery and one trip Spoodles first.

When we go to Epcot we use to have a Root Beer Float at Wonders of Life until it closed.

At MK it is a Dole Whip for me and Hand dipped Ice cream sandwich for him.. I think all we think about is food....... Must ride Peter Pan and Itsw

AK must have lunch at Tusker house and see the Wonder of Flight. We also have to see the White Cheecked Gibbons baby. Long story about the baby and us, we considered him our baby.

MGM actually there is nothing there that we have to do or eat.

We always get a picture of me and the kids on Dumbo. Unfortunately I dont think all 3 of us are going to fit much longer. :(
We also try to get a picture of the kids with the snowman near Mama Melrose. Usually thats after our dinner there.

We also usually arrive in Orlando in the afternoon, so after check-in at WL or VWL (what? There are other properties onsite???;-D ) we head to DTD. MK is always our first park in the morning and we always have lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern.

we all cry when we have to leave. but seriously always eat at boma, espn and have a race to the back of ak for the safari boys against girls. by the way boys rule two years straight but its tightening.

We always have to ride Dumbo first at MK.

We always have to eat breakfast at Kona.

We always have to get a hand stamp on the way out of each and every park, even at closing. On the last day, it's our promise to each other that we hope to come back again as a family.

Okay, this is a strange, strange tradition, but you can blame it on our children. We always have to chant "por favor ..." along with the monorail announcer, while holding on to the metal rails beside the door, which twist when the monorail doors open & shut. Okay, this is a VERY important rule, so there are four of us doing this, and the children hit a near panic state if it looks like someone is too far away to reach. They expect us to trample small children and shove aside the elderly in order to get there in time. Since this is the one and only time any of us speaks Spanish, actual speakers of Spanish probably roll in the aisles when they hear us. On the other hand, we get a big kick out of the French we hear, too. :teeth:

Our newest tradition that we started this year is to begin our Disney vacation by playing miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens. ::MickeyMo

Hot dogs & cheese fries at Casey's is our must do tradition. Also going on COP .

Ours are always doing MK first, and POTC first and working our way around from there.....my fav tradition is our lunch at Cosmic rays we get double burgers and sit outside and look at the castle and people watch. I know it doesnt sound like much, but its special to me because we never planned it, it just ended up being something we do every time we are there...and we have always had some very special moments then.

Our only real must-do tradition is that SE is our last ride of the trip.
We also seem to always wind up at MK on our first day - even if it's a Sat. :eek:
I like to start the Trip out with HM - but my son often wants to do SplshMtn first, so we alternate.
Usually my son & I have lunch together at Tempura Kiku, even if it's a family trip - there'll be one day that just the 2 of us go for lunch there.

After our first trip we now always go @Thanksgiving. Our first day is always Sunday so we shop @Premier Outlets, Downtown Disney and have dinner @Planet Hollywood (the kids love it) Always do "Small World" first @MK (this year will be a first because I believe it's closed for rehab!) Always go to opening night of Osborne Lights and I cry because it's so beautiful. I don't do too many of the roller coaster/adventurous type rides but I always ride Space Mtn. with the kids. We always have a character breakfast early in the week and have PS for character meal for Thanksgiving (this year Garden Grill) We always go home thinking this was the best trip ever and start planning to return.

* 1st night dinner - Yachtsman Steakhouse then Illuminations

* 1st full day breakfast - Crystal Palace (nothing better :) )

* Fireworks cruise

* Christmas ornament from each trip

* Last day breakfast Chef Mickeys

* Ghiradelli's sundae outside on the patio

OUr first meal in WDW is always at Chef Mickeys (at least until Hurricane CHarley nixed that one!!). Ous last attraction in always TTA. We just love the lazy ride around Tommorowland. And we always take a photo of dd in Minnie's house in the chair with the book over the arm. It's a great way to watch her get bigger and older.
