What are some good $5.00 and under items?

We've been collecting buttons from JCPenney and have won quite a few $5.00 certificates. They cannot be combined though, so only worth $5.00 per purchase. We've picked up a couple towels.
Other than that, what are some good $5.00 items?

I got my daughter a fortune teller pen (I think that's what it was called). It was $5 in the Christmas section. It's kind of like one of those magic 8 balls, so every time you click the pen it gives you a new 'fortune'.

I think I'm going to use my $5 certificates to get $5 off a box of k-cups, or maybe some socks.

Men's t-shirts are $5. Anything that you purchase for the exact amount negates the tax so you don't have to pay anything. We can stack them in my store (did it yesterday), so maybe it depends on who you get at the register.

It's a promotion that JCPenney stores is doing this Christmas season. You can just ask for a couple buttons at any register in any JCPenney store - I think through the 24th. Enter the codes on-line at JCP.com/Christmas and you could win prizes or certificates redeemable at the store.
I've won some $5.00 ones - looking forward to spending them now.

I've found fuzzy socks, gloves, and ornaments in that price range. My store also has lots of food items on clearance (jelly bellies, gourmet popcorn, etc).

I just wanted to let you know that our store told me they CAN ben combined. However, if you have two different amounts, you can only use all the $5 certificates in one transaction and all the $10 ones in another b/c their computers won't allow combining a $5 and a $10.

it varies by store. Our store said they cannot be combined. Maybe it depends on the manager.
