We purchased almost all of our pins while at WDW. But of course we traded so how do I know if I have a propin or sedesma now? I have purchased a few on ebay but those were because I liked them and they will be a "collection" for one of my kids or I purchased items to complete some series that we started while at WDW so those will be keepers too. I just need to know how to tell what I have for the ones we will be trading next trip so I will know if we have a potential problem with any possible propin or sedesmas.

Hi, as long as you are trading for what you like to keep in your collection it doesn't really matter if you have a Sedesma or Propin pin. To minimize any trading difficulties with Cast Members relating to a Sedesma or Propin type pins you can look at the back of the pin. Sedesma and Propins are backstamped with their respective names ..ie Sedesma pins have Sedesma imprinted on the backstamp.

Vince - will you have a Propins/Sedesma automated detection system up and running tomorrow :goodvibes

Well we got lucky considering we didn't know what we were doing. I checked all our pins we still have available to trade and they all look like authentic disney pins. Even the ones I purchased thru ebay out of Europe are marked disneyland resort paris. It's just our kids that trade so if we ever hit a glitch, since it's a kid maybe the CM will trade anyway. If not, there's nothing in our collection that cost enough to worry about.
