I am going to be booking our flight for this August soon and when I check seats on Continental's flights, some seats are premium seats. They are not first class as far as I can tell. Does anyone know if these are more money? I would prefer to select these seats if I can since they are closest to the front and restroom.

Thanks

These seats are reserved for elite status frequent flyers - these that fly so many miles per year; or for those that pay essentially full fare (fully refundable tickets).

BTW, at least on Continental, the restroom up front is reserved for 1st Class passengers.

Most airlines have the restriction that the front bathroom is reserved for first class passengers. It is supposed to be an FAA rule.

Where are you flying out of ? There are better and less expensive choices than Continental ( unless you prefer). Just a thought.

Thanks for the replies. I still want to sit as close to the front as possible. It is just what we prefer. We are flying out of Newark, NJ. This is our first flight with Continental. We have always flown US Aiways, but we just seem to have bad luck with them and will not fly with them anymore (not because they may go under). I know that there are cheaper airlines (Southwest) but I don't like their boarding policy. Price isn't a big issue this trip, since we are getting our tickets with our miles one card. :)

Thanks again.

Cindy
