I'm leaving the Magic Kingdom having spent the last 4 hours in Cuatomer Service because my book bag disappeared today. The only thing in it that I care about are all the autographs for our entire trip plus the decoration my granddaughter made at the Wondrland Tea Party. I also lost my photo pass and thank goodness for Memory Maker. I was able to recover the pictures at least. I was done for the day when I discovered the bookbaf was missing so no more Disney for the day. At least we have reservations for Park Fare in the am so I can at least have those autographs. We have done 5 character meals, stood in every princess line and all are gone. But there's next time in a couple of years when we save more money.

Well, I don't know what you had in your bag but Disney Lost and Found (located at the Ticket and Transportation Center, TTC) was amazing when I realized I had lost my glasses at Animal Kingdom. I stopped at Guest Relations upon leaving AK and they did not have them. They told me that by the next morning, all lost items would be turned in to the central lost and found at TTC. We managed to fit TTC into our touring plan and sure enough, after giving a detailed description of the case and glasses therein...I got them back. A very cheerful CM was as excited as I that I had found them.

It may take a day, but most Disney guests want YOU to have a Magical day as well.

The only thing that makes me doubtful is that it was gone pretty much right away. We went in the restroom and I left it beside the baby stroller. When I ce out my husband had moved the stroller and I didn't see the book bag anywhere. I thought he had it with him.

Thank you! At least I wrote their names in the books.

Maybe the book bag was lying on the ground after your husband moved the stroller and someone immediately picked it up and turned it in to the lost and found. I'd try the TTC lost and found again this morning.

My grandaughter dropped her autograph book in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. I though we had lost it but asked anyway. The CM asked me what name was written inside and then gave it back to me, so don't give up hope.

Someone in our party lost a cell phone on a ride. Line at guest services at end of day was far too long to bother. (Cheap phone that belonged to a 12 year old.)

I asked a CM about the lost and found and how it works and was told that items at the end of the night are moved to lost and found at TTC. I wouldn't give up and I would check again there.

Sure enough, they got the phone back yesterday.

I would keep trying.

I'm so sorry and totally understand your upset. Same thing happened at HS where DD and I sat down for lunch and I put my knapsack down. After lunch we had Frozen FP and as we're standing in line to go in, I realize I didn't have the knapsack wtih me. A panic, for the exact same reason; the autograph book was in there! And since it was Frozen FP, we weren't leaving the show. So had to wait for the show and then run back. We were very lucky though as some honest person had left the knapsack on the ledge (and no one else picked itup). There are good people around. So here's hoping that your'e shows up

Fingers crossed; going over there this morning. (we're going to Park Fare anyway) Thank you all for your positive feedback!

:yay: I have been in a postion similar but i lost my wallet. I went to guest service and they said to go to the lost and found the next day. I really had my doubts, this was the 2nd day of my vacation, and i thought it would be a waste of time to go to Lost & Found. This was the one time i had cash gift cards and a credit card, all my identification. I had cancelled the creditcard and called to have a 2nd form of identification sent. I stopped by the front desk at my resort to verify i had the correct address. After speaking with the cast member who encouraged me to go to lost and found. I went over on my way to the MK in the afternoon i took the time to check. To my surprise my wallet and all the contents were there. This could only happen at Disney.

Just wait a day or two and check the TTC lost and found. Chances are it will show up there. My mother left our soft sided cooler on a tram at AK last week (we just chalked it up to a loss as there were only water bottles in it and it was a cheap cooler) but we happened to be at MK/TTC so she popped in and there it was. My husband also lost his blood glucose meter at AK on a prior trip (we must be cursed there :confused3) and that too showed up at the Lost and Found office.

Thought i better add my story so you don't completely lose hope. On the 2nd day of a 15 day trip i lost my glasses at the bag check at EPCOT. We checked at Lost & Found at least 5 times while we were there. I was prepared to swallow the $300.00 to replace them when i got home until i snapped the arm off my other pair in the MCO airport. :rolleyes1

I called about a week after we got home and the silly things weren't there but the CM asked me to hold while she checked the items that had been returned the day before. POOF , took close to a month for them to show up and then another 2 weeks for them to get here in the mail. Cost Disney $8.80 to ship them to me and i don't think i pack stuff that securely when we move!! What did i do yesterday?? Step on the case and crush it!! Luckily the glasses were on my face at the time!!

Give them as many details as you can to describe the items and don't give up hope!

Tried TTC and so far no go. We are keeping a positive attitude and we did 1900 Park Fare this am so we recovered 5 autographs and now we are going to Epcot to get more. Not doing Cinderella, A&E or Repunzel again. Or Ariel. No more MK for me. Too crowded and not fun when it's that bad.

If you are staying on property it may be worth it to ask front desk if they can help you. They may be able to find some friends to sign something for you. Never hurts to ask, especially if it is still early in the trip and they have time to make the magic happen.

Ask the Concierge at the Contemporary. Former entertainment CMs move on to resort positions and I know there are a few now in Concierge at Contemporary. They can help with autographs of former "friends."
