I really want to stay at beach club for a few nights in September. I am preparing for my resale points not to show up in the system until April. I heard that waitlisting one day at a time might up my chances at getting it. But is this pretty much going to be an impossibility 5 months out to think I could get 5 days at Beach Club by waitlisting and stalking daily? We are going for a 2 bedroom, but ill also settle for a 1 bedroom if it ups my chances. Because if I'm just going to end up at SSR or OKW I'd rather push back my trip to the Holidays now and not get my hopes up (no offense to those resorts, it's just not what I'm looking for this time around)

With it being a September stay you are looking for, better then average. Sept is one of the slower times and easier to get in. But since it is BCV and it has such low inventory it still could be tough. I’d go for it if you want it and see how it plays out. Just make sure it cancels at 31 days.

Good luck!

Thank you, that gives me hope, I really dont want to cancel our trip, but I would if it meant we could use these points together stay where we want

Actually, the holidays, especially early Dec., are the most popular time of year w/ DVC bookings, so even if you have your points when the 7 month window opens I doubt there’ll be 5 days available at the BC.
BC is challenging year round unless you own there because it’s such a small DVC resort, BWV is larger & you might have a shot there. During your years of ownership, you’ll have the chance to experience many WDW resorts, maybe this first trip can be an adventure, staying where you find an opening or have a waitlist fulfilled. You may find you enjoy a resort you hadn’t considered more than you expected.

I think that's a good attitude to have especially since we already have the time off work and a riv stay booked for September that can't be refunded bcuz it's thru dvc rental store

Remembered we don’t allow people to share info regarding availability.

Fall is a very busy time and as mentioned with Food and Wine and the low point chart, it fills quickly.

Availability changes often though so until you are ready to book, what is there today could be different.

And, if you have flexibility in dates, you might be able to pick up a few, and then build the waitlist to only need a few additional days.
