What are my chances - BWV - waitlisted 12/30-1/4

So I’m waitlisted for a Boardwalk View from 12/30/14-1/4/15. I was able to book a Garden\Pool view for this timeframe but to us staying at BWV means sitting on the balcony watching the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk.

I probably should have walked the reservation but I didn’t so know I’m wondering what my chances are of the Boardwalk view waitlist coming through for us.

Anyone have experience with that time of year?

Well... I walked mine this year for same dates 12/29-1/4, for that exact reason. I did track it initially and it didn't open up but did not check at 7m to see if it did. I do know that I would have been in your exact situation had I not walked it.

Waitlisting this far out, you should be fine..

I think it will come through. Watch the website to see if any individual days come through. I did this in November when I wanted to book about 2 months out. I had a 5 night waitlist, the last 3 nights came open so I booked it and changed the waitlist to 2 nights. Then the 2nd night came open, so I booked it and changed the waitlist to just the first night. That night did come through by waitlist and they automatically cancelled the 2 reservations I made and created 1 five night reservation.

I waitlisted our final night at BLT for the 31st of December 2014 and I am worried a little bit. I think I will keep checking every few days and see if something comes up. We want to try an Epcot hotel but don't know our chances at the 7 month mark. Good luck with your reservation.
