What are everyones best/unique souvenirs?

I got some wooden cooking spoons a few trips back in France. I love cooking with them and they are great quality. I love them so much I bought twice as many on the last trip. And they're cheap too!

Since you posted this on the Restaurant forum, are you asking specifically about food related souvenirs? I like the caramel place in the Germany pavilion. There are all kinds of great sweets there.

Every trip my son (16) always tries a new and unique candy/snack from a country in Epcot, his favorite park!

We were there the week of Thanksgiving. I don't know about best but certainly unique - Japan, a gelatinous fruit flavored sweet sold in packs of 6, possibly 8. Can't recall the name but did we have fun all trying this. You can barely hold on to it, sweetly floured exterior with a pink soft center, the texture and shape, though small is reminiscent of breast implants! Definitively falls into the "tastes" better than it looks category and boy did we all laugh while trying it!

Last year Japan or China, Shrimp flavored chips, the funky smell upon opening the bag should be warning enough, but we all tried them. Odd but not overly offensive, tasted better than the smell!

I always pick up a stein from Germany. Not terribly unique, but there are few places where you can see so many in one place.

My favorite souvenir is not something unique, but it is a constant happy reminder of my trip. I bought a big 2011 mug last year with the characters and 2011 in bright colors. On the one hand, it's just a mug; however, I use it every day at work and it reminds me of my wonderful trip. Don't exclude something that seems ordinary--it may be that the ordinary is the perfect thing to have as a reminder

Every Disney trip we take we buy a picture frame magnet that we put on the fridge with one of our favorite pictures from the trip. We'll be getting our 4th one next week!

I see this thread has been moved, so I'm gonna add another: definitely not unique, but every visit we pick up at least one new Christmas tree ornament that is Disney themed. And we usually have the year added to it by the talented ladies in the shop.

Perfume. Yes, it doesn't exactly say Disney but there is a great selection in Epcot of perfumes I will never see at home. I've bought two on two recent trips now

My favorite souveniers probably aren't unique but they make me smile

I have a Mickey Garden Gnome that sits on our mantle - love him

I have Mickey plates/ bowls that I smile when we use

and on our last trip we got a Mickey wall clock

The best souvenir is one you use often. It doesn't even have to look like it came from Disney - but every time you use it, it will remind you of your trip and all the good memories Some of my favorite souvenirs from non-Disney trips have been clothing (not touristy T-shirts with a city name on them, but nice dresses and tops) and jewelry. I love the idea of getting a kitchen item, and Epcot's WS has plenty of interesting things. I always admire the pretty scarves in the UK pavilion, the dishes in Japan, and the painted animals in Mexico.

We bought a pickle ornament at the German Pavilion.

I don't know if I would call this a souvenir, but we asked the characters to sign a photo mat instead of an autograph book. Now we have two pictures of us in front of Main Street and the Tree of life with the autographed photo mats around them. I think it is fun, since we will be seeing the pictures every day.

Probably not unique, but I bought the entire collection of Lucky Cats (one or two at a time) in Japan's gift shop & have them all on display in my home office. I bought the mini-sized & I love the way they look all lined up on my shelf like happy little soldiers.

I always get "France" spoons & several bars of Almond soap. I have a rolling pin too.

We always pick up a blown-glass dragon on each trip. Sometimes from Disney, sometimes from other parks.

I just used the rolling pin I got in France! We also love getting autographs on more unique items....this past year being a calendar in which each month was a classic Disney film (Mickey's Nightmare, Goofy's How to Ski, etc.). We also will use postcards for autographs. A couple of years ago we collected every gift card design available and framed them together. Always get a Christmas Ornament.

One of my favorites comes from the France shop as well - A little stuffed Remy in a chefs outfit - He is in a bowl on a shelf in my kitchen.
My daughter has been collecting the Mexican wooded animals. Every trip she picks one out - collection up to 6 now.

last year we bought our daughter an umbrella from a outside cart in Japan. It is plain purple but when it gets wet a flower print appears all over.

It is really unique and very good quality as well.
