What are DINGS??

i have never flew before what is everyone talking about DINGS Clue me in please

Dings are specials that are offered usually twice a day by SW airlines.You have to go to the SW site and download it on to yopur computer. It doesn't take very long and some of the savings are great.There is a small icon that will appear on your tool bar it is an airplane wing and it usually has a small envelope on it when there is a ding available. As of today they are personalizing the dings so you will get them for the airports you choose. I have three that I can fly out of from my area and I listed those.You can check it out on SW.com. It's really worth it as some of the specials are great!

Thanks to a DING, DH and I flew round trip Philly to Orlando in May for just under $100 per person.

For a while the DINGs were date specific (like Tuesdays and Thursdays only), but it seems to be opening up more now. I guess with the stablization of gas prices Southwest feels more secure in their pricing.
