What are closing costs through Disney?

I know people say closing costs are more through resale but what are they through Disney direct?

we paid $251.02 for 100 point new purchase thru disney.

We did the tour in August and were quoted $330 for 160 AKV points.
We bought 150 points through a resale company and paid about $425.
We saved $19 per point over Disney's price--nearly $3000, so the extra $100 in closing costs was not a problem.

I lucked up and did better than everyone! When I purchased and later did an "add on" at SSR, both times I received a free year of points, 160 developer points, $10 a point discount, and no closing costs.

We paid $234.98 for 175 points at AKV. We got 175 developer points and a $8.00 discount per point. (Also a $500.00 gift card for a referral.) We did not finance our purchase through disney, I think the closing costs are a little higher if you finance.

There are no closing costs for add-ons, for anyone.

And closing costs for new owners are a relatively new thing from what I understand, just started this year or late last year, I think. Prior to that, DVC paid those.

for a 160 point original contract through disney, it's 235 for cash and 350 if you finance through disney.
