what are attendance patterns like for MK - days of week

We will be arriving on a Friday...it is a night for the MNSSHP so we will not be able to spend much time if any at MK our first day...it will be the first trip for my 4yo DD and 2nd for DD age 7...I'm sure that they are going to want to do MK ASAP...can anyone tell me if it is crazy to go on Sat to MK...it is also Columbas Day weekend...does that have a big impact on crowds...if you were me would you try to go to MK on a different day??

Saturday at MK is the worst day for crowds. I've found Tuesday or Wednesday to be a good day, unless they are running Spectro and fireworks those nights in the off season (it was crazy on Tuesday May 13 because it was a Spectro night). With the early closing that Friday, it would probably be a good day.
