WHAT am I doing wrong?!

When we last went, I called for reservations and got my whole week done. BAM! Now I am trying to get dining online. I set my alarm and woke up and was ready first thing this morning....and nothing. Not one thing in the park I needed. And now I get to do this TWO MORE TIMES? Cause the other two dates aren't even up yet. I am mega irriatated. And by Sunday I will be tired and irritated! Am I doing something wrong? Should I just call? At this rate we will be living on burgers this whole trip!
 
I tried to help my co-worker yesterday and the site is super glitchy. Keep trying. Also try various times and "lunch" and "dinner" as well. There is no rhyme or reason to it but by playing around I was able to get her all of her choices for the end of July but sometimes it would say nothing available and then I'd put in 2:00 and it would give me a 4:20. Sometimes when I went to book it, it would say "paws" and unavailable but then would reappear. It takes a lot of patience and effort but you'll get what you want eventually.
 
Are you staying onsite? If so, you should be able to book for your whole trip at 60 days from your check in date. If you're offsite it's one day at a time.
 
We only got one reservation that we wanted out of five. I tried every week until we got there and even after we got there we checked every day for openings. We made a different reservation for two day and just ate QS the other days.

I couldn't get my dates to open up on my 60 days out. I was only showing one day at a time. I called Disney (waited almost two hours), to find out that My Disney Experience didn't support my browser. (I was using my Fire tablet with Silk Browser. Downloaded a browser on my phone and then app and it now works on my phone. Maybe Disney doesn't support your browser? Just a thought.

I get one day at a time. I am now showing my first day in a park. Nothing else. I should try on my phone? I was kinda playing with it prior to today so I could get a feel and was ready but I didn't like the app and chose to do it on my computer. So not on Safari on my phone.....on the actual app? Where do I look on the app? I can't find dining
 
If using on a computer, are you sure that you are logged in? It may look like you are, but it kicks you out really fast. Go to the MyDisneyExperience link at the top right. It will force you to log in if you aren't. Also, try an Incognito window. This is only true if you are staying onsite. Offsite or split stay has to book everyday/each stay.
 
Sooooo a friend traveling with us had a chat with a cast member and they said the group is too large and we have to call! Nice to have known that before hand! We have a group of 8 and they wont do online reservations beyond 5 it says. You have to call. So we are currently sitting on the phone for a 2 hr wait time to see if we can actually speak to someone!!!! I knew I should have done it the old fashioned way! :badpc:

That's weird. I made a reservation for 6 online for Jaleo. However, I can see 8 being difficult, but I thought the large group number was more like 10. Usually, it's just the 3 of us.

RIGHT!? I can see online that I can make a reservation for "50+". Now if you prefer people to call for larger groups, then why would you put that drop down option!? The chat guy said 6 and under actually for online but when we called it says on the message 5 and over must call. Dunno. We called at 7:30 and on hold so Ill update after 9:30 lol....if we don't fall asleep on the phone waiting

I had no problems making reservations online for my 5 last week.
I hope you get through to someone soon!
 
The reservations system in MDE is SUPER glitchy. I could only get my actual calendar dates to show up by navigating through the reservation system a very specific way. Otherwise the dates would not show as active. Had I not known that the site was super glitchy I would have just given up or probably called later but it really doesn’t make for the best user experience. 😂
