We price originally on travelocity and then price directly on the airline--just to see how the deals are going.
We used to frequent Delta, but have moved to Southwest.
I fly NW on occasion as my BIL works for the airline, but after recent mishaps, I'll be avoiding them in the future.
My other BIL and my husband use USAir when they "have to"--and they both agree that it sucks. Don't recall all the reasons why, but they both hate it.
My husband used to fly Delta all the time for business as it is the only airline at the local airport and his company paid for it.
But with his new company and the amount of travel he does, he really strives to be cost concious and flies frequently out of Orlando. He tries to do Southwest as much as he can.
USAir when it is cheapeast by a lot--t o the one location that he goes to that Southwest doesn't go.
A lot of his airline choices have to do with price and timing--but more often than not he flies southwest. They are who we are using to fly to CA this December. 2 of our 5 tickets were free with his flight credits. And I think they are one of the few if not the only one that doesn't charge extra for the first 1 or 2 checked bags. (not sure on that 2nd bag)
