The University of Connecticut makes history. The Men win the basketball championship on Tuesday and Diana Taurasi and Geno lead their team to victory last night! What an awesome thing for UConn!

I also posted this last night. Yes, they were awesome! I'm so happy this "March Madness" is over though so I can get to bed at a decent hour now:cool:

Yeah, UCONN!:bounce:

And then the students have to go disgrace themselves by flipping over more cars.

Congrats to both the men and lady Huskies though - both well deserved!

I agree. I think that they need to "dry" up that campus. The other state universities have dry campuses and the problems don't even approach thsoe of UConn.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that would help, since most of the incidents like last night take place at off-campus apartment complexes.

As an alum of UCONN, I only ask that everyone please remember that it is a minority of the total student population that takes place in this behavior which unfortunately affects the reputation of all.

I agree - but you said it yourself, it "affects the reputation of all."

My college did some stupid stuff too...but I can say, we never, EVER flipped a car over! heheheh

(for more car-flipping...wait until the Dave Matthews Band comes to the Meadows this summer!)
