Hi All
Some of you may have noticed I have been missing for a few weeks....unfortunatly my DS (Sam) got an infection in a wound on his hand after an operation so we were back in hospital for a few days!!...he is on the mend and so we were able to go for a few days to London as planned this week although we did have to be a bit careful so did not do as much as we wanted.
Sam is a BIG West Ham fan (we live in Middlesbrough but I am originally from East London and he has followed my footsteps!!
).....so we did go to see them play Man City on Saturday and then bought the whole of the club shop!!!
We have come home today (back to Middlesbrough!!) and are planning to go to the West Ham game at Middlesbrough tomorrow!....what Sam only found out at teatime today is he is the actual mascot for West Ham which I have been planning for months!!... Before the match he will meet all the players, have photos and time to chat to them, get autographs etc and walk out onto the pitch with them and be in the programme.....his face when we told him made all the begging, planning and time it has taken to sort so worthwhile....the best bit is I get to go with him and as a lifelong Hammers fan that means so much!!
So the excitement for tomorrow is building up......anyone who is a football fan will know what this means to a 7 year old who lives and breaths for playing football and watching his team!! (he gets alot of 'stick' from friends not being a Middlesbrough supporter!!) and after what he has been through really deserves it...I cant wait and nor can he!!
