I was just watching CFL news, a local new channel in Orlando and they announced the price increases:

One day going up to $82
5 day going up to $237
Park Hopper is up to $54
FL Premium pass up to $489

I'm guessing we'll be getting more details soon. They didn't mention when the prices are going in effect.

Got an email today that the new prices were going into effect on Thursday, August 5th.

I received an e-mail from MouseSavers. It shows that the 6 & 7 day passes really took a price hit. It seems like now it would be cheaper to buy two 3 day passes than it would to buy one 6 day pass. :confused3

Those 6 & 7 day tickets were once too good to pass up, but now maybe I will be spending less time in the parks and spreading my money around Orlando a bit more. :rolleyes1

I don't think I'm looking at the same price chart as you. I see a 3-day parkhopper for $296 (up from $288) and a six-day park-hopper for $315 (up from $301).

Happens the same time every year... and it's not only WDW usually! All the other big theme parks usually join in too...

Yikes! I signed up for the Mousesavers newsletter last week, and yes I am a procrastinator, but I heard the price increase would be on the 15th, which is when newsletter with the UT link comes out. Would anyone take pity on me and PM me the link? Thanks.

It's happening Thursday, August 5th.... Mousesavers says the same.

I just went back an looked and the link doesn't show the chart now. :confused3 Strange, I see what you see now and that is a good thing!

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in this Forum, Post #18 is the current complete price chart. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

Hmm, well those prices don't exactly concern us Florida residents except the premium pass, you'd think they'd report also on the Fl Resident tickets for a Florida news station.

Right, but I won't get the Mousesavers link for discounted tickets until the 15th-too late. Hence my plea for a PMd link...

Just an fyi...If you buy through Mousesavers discount link...Undercover Tourist will continue to honor the previous pricing until their current stock runs out. I know cause I called and asked, then purchased our tickets for October a couple days ago at the previous pricing.

I bought a 10-day non-expiring park hopper and an 8-day expiring park hopper before prices went up in August 2009. My annual pass is good through May 1, 2011, and then I'll decide if I want to use the new tickets as is, or apply the value to a new AP.

I SO wish I had purchased more non-expiring tickets when the Magic Your Way tickets first came out in 2005. In December 2005 - I bought a 10-day non-expiring park hopper with 5 water park fun and more visits for $353 from Ticket Mania! The gate price of a 10-day non-expiring park hopper without the water park option is now $563.39!

Here's a question- we are booked for a late November/early December trip. We currently do not have PH's, but rather, just base tickets. If we change now, will we be charged the new price or the old price?

Thanks!

Call WDW for a good answer. They will be able to tell you exactly what they can do at the moment.

In other words, they may make you an offer.

Officially if you change your tickets on a package after the effective date of a price change you will have to pay the new price. I would suggest waiting until you check in, get your tickets, and go to a park to lock in the current gate price. Then upgrade them.

Thank you! We will do just that:thumbsup2.
