CathyCanada answered my very first post on the DIS, way back in 1998. She personified what the DIS was all about,more than Pete,as he no longer posts on the boards.

When I was banned about 6 months ago, Cathy informed me on the reason why I was banned. Too bad no one on the DIS informed her as to why she was banned.

This place is a pale comparison of it's former self. It'll never be what it was a few years ago. Back then, Fridays on the CB was THE place to be. We had fun, (even though we got our hands smacked a few times) but we were one big family. Sure we had our disagreements along the way, but we always came back with a smile. Those few people "in charge" at the time made it all worth while.

Now there's nothing left. Banning Cathy (and Michelle) was the final straw.

Whomever is trying to kill the Dis is certainly doing their job well. I just hope they figure it out before they get the job done. CC will always be missed here. There is a void now that will never be filled. CC I hope you are able to read all the support you have here, and how much you are loved by all on these boards. I am so sorry that you were treated like this at a time when you really need our love and support. I just wish I had a way of letting you know all this. Please keep in touch with Dan or someone, so we can at least know how you are doing and what happens with your family. We love you CC, and will miss you very much.
