What a great morning!

Just got off the phone with MS....

I wanted to find out how to extend our waitlist until 7 days out, for our spur of the momment trip this September(we have a one bedroom at BWV, waitlisting at BCV, BWV and VWL for a two bedroom) And they put me on hold..... They came back to say they had a two bedroom availible at VWL! YAAAHOOO!

We toured WL this past December and it was lovely. I cant wait to stay there!

Oh and for the heck of it, I inquired about a reservation at BWV in November (that I made 10 months out) where I had requested a Boardwalk view.... she said it was set... we got the view!

This just keeps getting better and better.

Off to look up stuff on VWL!

Since you said in an earlier post that this will be a no parks trip, you may want to consider the boat and bike plan at VWL for your trip. You can also take the kids to fort Wilderness to the petting zoo area, and do pony rides. Just a thought! Congrats on getting changed to WL. Hope you enjoy your trip. Please let us know how the no parks trip turns out. I'm really considering it for spring of next year.

We are siked about the no park trip. Dont know i f the kids will be.... lol but I will explain that Charlie is just too little, and we will go to the parks on our trip in Febuary (we will have help on that trip)

I am hoping the combo of AKL and VWL, firsts for both resorts, and several charater meals, will be enough to sooth my savage beasts

I will be sure to post a trip report for this one..... lets hope it is filled with great news!

Just a note: Pre-DVC we rented a small pontoon boat at Port Orleans with the kids and they enjoyed it. DD#2 was only 4 months old and there weren't any problems.They supplied all the life jackets. I think the small boats are also included in the plan, not just the mice. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. Of course the view of the castle from Bay Lake might make the kids beg to go! I hope you have a great time. I'm counting the days to December for our VWL trip!

Congratulations! Try the campfire program at FW, the kids will love it. They have a sing along, a visit from Chip and Dale, a bonfire for smores, and a Disney movie. The best part is that it's free!
