Just another reason I want to get a DSLR...next spring I will report back with pics from my niece's dance recital.

I love the way you share your passion with us here. We are complete strangers, and still you trust us with your art. Way cool.

I would love to be at WDW for one day shooting with you. I am sure I could learn a lot.

Great idea, Sam! Hey, Jeff...how about it? "WDW Field Trip, with Gdad". You could get a little stick with a flag on it, just like the one Bozo Joe (or whatever he's called) at Flights of Wonder uses! I can just picture all of us photo geeks, festooned with cameras, lenses, tripods, etc, etc, snaking thru the parks! Would be great fun, though, and I'm sure we'd all learn from the experience.

I was supposed to be there then, but life has tossed me a bit of a curve ball, so it will be sometime later in the summer apparently.

Beautiful photos, Jeff. Thanks for the inspiration. My assignment this Spring was to get some pictures of my DD playing club volleyball. I improved some over the course of the season, but not as much as I had hoped. Your improvement was great! I especially like the one you printed for your DD as a gift. Just beautiful!

You say this improvement occurred over the space of a year and a DSLR? Maybe I will notice a greater improvement when school ball begins in August. Thanks!
