A July 4th Golf Cart Parade that rolls down the street again with the judges parked in front of the Meadow TP and not simply parked carts at sites with judges rolling around.

Things are trending in the right direction. :teacher:

I’ve seen several threads recently asking for statuses of what is/isn’t open or operating so I thought I’d make a thread to capture it all. As always, the Bike Barn is the best place to call for the most current information- (407) 824-2932. Feel free to comment with updates and I will track them in this post. Also, here is the link to the official Disney site for experience updates at the Fort - Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go | Walt Disney World Resort

Can you tell me if fishing excursions require reservations?

as a first timer to the campsites, can someone tell me if brochures of this type showing events are attainable without having to find them hanging around the campground? I’d really love to have them in hand daily to know what’s going on! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!
They are hanging around or available at the front desk at the outpost.

Word on the street is that pontoon rentals are resuming at some resorts. The Fort wasn’t listed as one of them but hopefully won’t be too far behind. You can currently do a fishing charter from the Fort but not a boat rental.

That would be great if true. I’d be happy to throw a wrench in the all the boats were returned or destroyed statement that came out in threads elsewhere on DIS.

While we are down there next week I’m going to try to re-verify as much of this as I can. Are there any specific questions folks have that you’d like me to try to get an update on?

Thanks for the offer. We hit FW in December.
What's going on with the construction in all the loops? Still going on? What's it for, etc?

We were there in May. I'm just curious as to whether or not there is any change/movement in the areas blocked off for the erstwhile "Timeshare That Must Not Be Named". I'm hoping they start actively re-landscaping the land, re-doing paths, and taking down fences.

I second this request

Any appearance of repaving the walking trail to Wilderness Lodge?

The October movie list that can be posted here?

Thanks Arc. Enjoy the trip.

PS - hope we get Chip & Dale back soon .....
