What’s going on with resort dining reservations?

A friend of mine had her 60 day window open today. She said there were no reservations for any of the resort restaurants for her whole stay. What’s going on? I try to stay up to date, but there’s been so many changes lately.

Oh gawd...who knows. Hope they aren't thinking of another shut down. Maybe they just haven't loaded in yet...and (this is hopeful) they are finally opening the other restaurants. I have been waiting for Toledos, Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Ohana, Boma. Need one of them to fill in my end of Nov trip. Watching for ESPN Club too for football watching.

She had me check for her too just to be sure, and I couldn't find anything either. Very strange. I doubt it's a **** down. I immediately went the other direction and thought that maybe they are toying with increasing capacity. :/

California Grill, Grand Floridian Cafe, Trattoria, Topolino's, Beaches and Cream, Narcosse's were just a few she was checking. There weren't any reservations at all at any time of the day during her stay which is bizarre.

She should put in 2 TP searches and as soon as they load them, she will know.

Something is definitely weird. I'm only seeing Rix Cafe and I seriously doubt ONLY Rix has availability.

How many is she looking for? Does she know to look for 3+?

EDIT: I see some stuff for "Lunch" and "Dinner". Only Rix for breakfast. I didn't look at the places you listed though.

She did look at reservations for 4 people. There are reservations available but not at the resorts really. It’s strange. Apparently, some others are having issues with days earlier in January too. Reservations aren’t booked at many places, they never showed up when it opened.

I was thinking she must be doing something wrong... but Ale&Compass has no openings after Jan 1st, something must be up. They should have breakfast and dinner for sure.

Still only Rix showing up for any resort dining. Clearly something is majorly glitching in their system.

I had this problem last Tuesday and on Saturday when my booking windows opened. If I actually saw a time and clicked on it, the site would time out. I missed out getting reservations for half of my trip. I've set up alerts through Touring Plans and Mouse Dining to get the ones I want - Topolino's and Chef Mickey's

I’m going the 1/3 - 1/8, have Epcot days on the 3rd & 7th, and there is no Via Napoli availability at all that week. Very odd.

I think we can all agree that they haven’t loaded times for most of the January dates at resort restaurants which should be bookable right now. My friend set up a TP alert as did I, but my dates won’t start to be checked for a bit. If anyone notices ADR’s popping up for January at the resort restaurants, please let the rest of us know.

I tried asking in the chat on the app because it is VERY weird that ALL the resort options other than Rix disappeared (and there were A LOT for Jan 6-11) and "Maureen" said "At this time we are not aware of any issues with the reservation system". I politely said "Something is going on!"

(I have seen Via Napoli during my time frame - including the 8th.)
