What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Homemade tacos tonight.

We are in "clean out the fridge mode" so I'm making a chili for lunch and dinner will be the remaining pork tenderloin and butternut squash. We made corn muffins to go with the chili since I had cornmeal to use up.

We're also in the "clean the fridge" mode... or freezer, as the case may be!

Tonight the Little Guy is coming for supper and overnight. Dinner will either be leftover chili over elbow macaroni, spaghetti and meat sauce (or meatballs, have both in the freezer to use up), or breakfast for supper. Jury is still out.

My younger granddaughter is cooking tonight -- some kind of chicken parmesan dish. She's doing a good job cooking. I admire her willingness to tackle more difficult dishes as a beginner.

I’m at school late until 6:00 for parent teacher conferences. We had a potluck Thanksgiving dinner here today before the conferences started. It was delicious!
So I’ll have something small for dinner. Not sure about DH he’ll probably have leftover chop suey.

Back from our cruise, so spent the day at 3 stores.....Fry's, Costco and Sam's.
Food in the house again and ready for Thanksgiving.

Tonight we are having Taco Salad. Easy and fast.
I spent the day at those stores and going through a huge pile of mail.
Not even unpacked.....that's tomorrow's job. With doing laundry

Needed to order some groceries from WF for the vacation apps and decided I might as well get 1/2 lb of chopped beef for burgers tonight. Used up the last of the butterhead lettuce, scallions and an avocado in a side salad and dinner was done.

I'm making chicken tenderloins in the airfryer to serve over Caesar salad. DH will have a couple yeast rolls with his.

Tonight DH had Swedish meatballs over noodles, I had buttered noodles and we both had salad.

We are finishing up our earlier remodel by painting our new dining room (former living room) and today they did the ceiling and hallway ceiling. It’s crazy how much brighter it is. The ceiling must have been dingy before!

It was great....except yesterday.
Very relaxing. We went through the new locks of the Panama Canal. Gone from home for 18 days.....so relaxing is over.

I went to my sister in law's to watch part one of Wicked since I hadn't seen it yet and we are going to see Part 2 on Friday. She made Chicken Parm in the Air Fryer with Rigatoni pasta. It was good

Tonight will be Hot and Sour soup.....so glad to come back to cooler weather and it's raining today
