Her husband has Parkinson’s and it’s progressing. Really hard to watch. (And, I’ve seen a lot. Retired Army nurse) Time to pour a nice glass of wine. Take care of your loved ones and give them all a hug!

My DH has Parkinson’s. He’s not that far advanced but bless you for helping them.

I’m going to roast a turkey breast on the Traeger today. Sides will be apple arugula salad and smashed potatoes. Need to make sure I make a gravy from the drippings this time.

It has black beans, corn, cumin, salsa and chicken. Chicken is shredded later and cream cheese added.

I’m going to roast a turkey breast on the Traeger today.

I just bought some bobolis yesterday b/c while going through my freezer I realized we still have a freezer bag of smoked turkey from the last time dh did one up on the big green egg. smoked turkey pizza this weekend

I'm in the process of going through my full size freezer. we've been eating our way through stuff and i've made an effort not to purchase anything to put in it UNLESS it's been on an excellent sale (primarily chicken drumsticks in recent times). in addition to the smoked turkey I also found some freezer bags of traditional oven baked turkey that I had intended to make soup of or open face turkey sandwiches but our weather has been such it has not sounded appealing in months. I defrosted the turkey and i'm going to make a bunch of freezable small 'thanksgiving casseroles' (I have all the ingredients on hand). I figure in the next month or so as the temperature drops being able to pull out an easy to heat heartier meal will be appealing.

We are having a tag sale next weekend so I spent the afternoon cleaning the basement. It is the best it’s looked in 15 years. I still need to go through my bakeware and holiday stuff.

We met our shack friends for lunch. We went to a roadside stand. It wasn’t bad.

DH and I shared the pretzel which is probably the best pretzel I have had in years and I had the scallop roll.

We went down the Cape today with the pups. We had a huge lobster roll, potato salad and really good thick NE chowda for lunch. We then walked it off on a canal walk. It was a beautiful day!!! So much warmer than last weekend.

I forgot to mention after all the Stew Leonard’s talk I went this morning. I have been singing the cheese song all day.

Besides our meal for tonight, I made mac and cheese and also chicken taco meat for DS's family ( I cook for them almost every week (unless someone is out of town) since they are so busy. Been doing it for 15 years now)
