We took a ride to get my favorite red potato pizza today. It was delicious!

This may sound crazy but by any chance is that Willington Pizza in Connecticut? I moved away from there ~10 years ago and miss that pizza desperately. I make my own potato pizza at home but it's just not the same. I also miss CT in general, but definitely not the snow.

I took chicken out of the freezer.....deciding between Salsa Chicken or Swiss Chicken.

I live in Central Florida now (about an hour from the parks) but grew up in Tolland county and went to UConn. Small world! Next time you come to Disney, I may ask you to bring a pizza!

Tonight I am making a sweet and sour sheet pan meal with chicken, turkey smoked sausage, peppers, onions, and pineapple. Will serve it with rice. That will likely be my dinner for the next 4 days because I have a friend coming into town Friday so will be eating out a lot this weekend.

Does anyone have any cucumbers suggestions? I am having my best ever cucumber year in the garden. I have made pickles (kosher dill, half sour, and bread and butter), tomato and cucumber salad, tossed salad, and we’ve been snacking on them with various dressings.

I’m in work mode with helping out a friend. I sent hubby out for fresh salmon. I think he’ll throw them on the grill. We shall see…….

Spicy chicken teriyaki tacos on flour tortillas with rice. Quick and easy meal. Leftovers reheat well. And best of all it's one of the meals DH cooks because he's tinkered with the recipe!

Went back into my memory bank for a dish I haven’t made in donkey years: veal scallopine, Limousin style. Has a multitude of garnishes but still quite simple to make. DGD gets boiled new potatoes with her meal and we both get leeks and a cup of cream of broccoli.
Dessert will be pound cake (bought it) and peach sauce.

@LoveDaisy believe it or not, they are delicious cooked and I frequently used them in Asian recipes. Sliced mango and cuke spears w/ hot sauce make a cooling treat when the weather is hot.

I just had part of a roast beef and provolone sandwich from Potbelly at the Baltimore airport. It was a FAR cry from the wonderful food I had all week in New Orleans, and pretty salty. Didn't bother to keep the rest of the sandwich. One more flight and we'll be heading for a hotel in Portland, Maine.
