It was Chloes 12th birthday on Tuesday so we though it would be a great time to tell them that their going back to Walt Disney World.
We booked it over a year ago (Jan 06) and managed to keep it a secret.
I brought a folder with clear pockets and done it all on the computer, it took me hours.Front page was;Your Florida Vacation 2007 then i put photos of the hotels we're staying at.Second page was when are we going and about the Gatwick hotel, time of flight ect. I then did a different page for each of the parks with new additions since our last vist. Next 2 pages of ADR's all with dates times & photos (BBB at Downtown went down really well).
A page then all about St Pete beach, another one for Busch Gardens all with photos. Then DH also did a countdown calender with how many days to go for them to put on their bedroom door and cross of the days each night before bed.
They were stunned, they couldnt believe it, then the excitement came
What a great birthday this was turning out to be.They had been to do their swim awards at 9am and both done really well, Chloe did 600m Ellie-Mae did her 400m. It was after they had been swimming had a bath and hair wash that we told them, Nanny & Grandad was also there to see them get their folders . (also didnt want to tell them before swimming).
We had pancakes for lunch then it was time to pick Chloes friend up & go Ice Skating. We were there about an hour & Ellie-Mae falls over(something she doesnt very often do,shes quite good at skating) then unfortunately DH runs over her fingers with his ice skates on.It wasnt good, she didnt cry she just got up even tho there was blood on the ice and running of her hand. I just got loads of tissues out of my pocket and took her to the toilets, at which point she went white, started to shake and felt dizzy. I shouted for DH to go & get someone and the first-aider came & took her to the first-aid room it was still bleeding he held her hand up and put some gauze on it & held it untill it stopped bleeding. She had sliced her thumb and three fingers, it was awful DH took her to A&E and she had her thumb glued, her fingers had deep cuts also but the Dr said they would be ok. So now shes got her thumb bandaged up & got to go to our local hospital next week to have it checked.
What a day.
