Lindsey- I just caught up on your TR! It really looks like you two had so much fun! I am glad to hear good reviews about the Nemo ride. I am so excited, we are going to WDW tomorrow and I cannot wait Your TR has definitely put me in the "Disney mood" I hope you still feel well from your wisdom teeth surgery. I had mine out a few years ago and my cheeks looked like Chip and Dale's Keep the TR coming!

He's not a Figment of my Imagination!



We then went to "The Land" to grab some Fast Passes for "Soarin'" because they usually stop giving them out by noon! I have never seen such a packed ride! DH & I were only able to go on it once before in June and we had the worst seats in the house. We were at the bottom, so all we saw were rows and rows of legs hanging in front of us!

We grabbed our Fast Passes and then went on the newly refurbished "Living with the Land." We weren't able to go on it in June, so I hadn't been on it in quite a few years. DH & I really did enjoy it a lot! I also liked it much better without the CM guided tour. The Boys favorite part were the Mickey pumpkins! Mickey kept pointing at them and saying, "that's me! that's me!"

DH learned so much on the ride that he didn't know before and he was so impressed with his new knowledge. I think the "Behind the Seeds Tour" would be so much fun to go on one day!

It was then time to go to the "Imagination Pavilion!" We really wanted to see "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!" I had only seen the show once and that was back around 1996. DH had never seen it and I knew it would freak him out! He is afraid of snakes and if you've seen "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience," you know what scene I'm talking about! The 3-D show brought back a lot of memories because I was a huge fan of the movies as a kid! I even had the movie posters on my walls! The part where all the mice run under the audience still gets me!

It was then time to go see Figment in "Journey Into Imagination!" I love Figment! I went on the ride for the first time way back in the day when the Dream Keeper was still around and fell in love with the purple dragon! I had toys, stuffed animals...you name it, I had it! DH & I really enjoy the new ride! It was shut down when I was at WDW for the trip before my Disneymoon, which was years ago, so Figment has now just come back into my life!

Then, I couldn't believe it!? FIGMENT was actually there!! I was so excited!! I've waited my whole life to meet Figment!! Look how happy I was to see him! I gave him the biggest hug!

Here are my favorite Christmas decorations at Epcot! I think it's beautiful and it represents "peace," so well. I also got a beautiful night shot of it that I will post. It's even more beautiful then!

We then went over to "Universe of Energy." DH had never been in this pavillion before or on the ride, even before they added Ellen to it. I have been on the original ride and wasn't a huge fan of it because I was a kid at the time, but I think it's even worse now. I don't like the whole Ellen, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Alex Trebek additions and it's already outdated again! This needs to be the next pavillion they get in and fix-up! I know there has to be some great ideas out there! I have fallen asleep on this ride every time! I like the dinosaur part, but the new Ellen animatronic is pathetic, in my opinion. Yes, I did fall asleep during the ride, once again! I don't know what it is, but I just can't help it! It is so calming and it puts me right to sleep! I don't know if they would take that as a positive review of the ride. I do love that the pavilion is still retro and it brings back the total vibe of 80's Epcot!

We had some time to enjoy the Christmas decorations before we had to get to our lunch reservation at Le Cellier in Canada! Epcot's Christmas tree represents all of the countries in the World Showcase and it is huge! It's much better than the tree at the Magic Kingdom!

Oh, I agree that it must be done! Even if it is a waste of time, it still is a classic! The only real refurbishment to "Living with the Land" is that they got rid of the CM's in the boat with you telling you all the info. Now, there is a speaker with a voice telling you every thing. Does that make sense? It's a lot better because you can always understand the automated

I absolutely love your trippie! I have been sitting here for the past 2 hours reading the entire thing. I find myself laughing out loud at the parts about you and the boys because my bf and I do the exact same thing with making the "stuffed" animals talk and then take pictures of them, he thinks im crazy but im gonna show him this trippie to show him other people do it too!!!! Keep it up, I am totally loving this report and CONGRATS on the house!! You are so lucky! Dreams do come true~!

Lunch at Le Cellier



Well, my weekend has gone down hill on the wellness factor and this has nothing to do with my extracted wisdom teeth, eventhough my jaw is still super sore! My Mom and I went to lunch today and it was going to by first attempt at a real meal! We went to a new Mexican Restaurant and I was able to eat a bean burrito very slowly. Then, after lunch I was in a lot of pain! I had a bad feeling it was a urinary tract infection because I had been having pain on and off for the past couple of days. I know...gross! I hadn't had one in a little over two years! We made a quick trip to the Emergency Room and sure enough, I had an infection! Now, I am on two more medications and now I have more pain to deal with! What else can happen in a week!? I'm doing fine now, but I'm spending most of my time on the couch and popping pills.





Now, let's talk about better times...WHEN I COULD EAT!


It was time to head on over to Canada! 'O CANADA!


My DH's family, both sides, are from Canada, so that's why I picked Le Cellier. Plus, DH loves steak, so I thought it would be a perfect choice!

I had never been to Canada at World Showcase and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was!

We were starving and ready to start eating! We checked in and they were impressed with our last name because DH's family is French Canadian. No, I don't have an ounce of Canadian in me! Le Cellier was so neat inside! I loved the feel of the restaurant! It had a very rustic feel to it and the lighting was very low. I automatically loved the ambiance! There were also Christmas decorations hung everywhere on the walls, which made it even better! It was just perfect!

We got seated in the back corner of the restaurant very close to a family with five children. We had one of those tables where I was seated on the booth and DH was on the other side in a chair. We were pretty crammed in there too! I don't like feeling like I'm eating over people or they're eating over me, but we didn't have much of a choice. We could hear every table conversation! Our hostess that seated us at our table was a bit odd. She didn't really know how to talk to people at all, but I won't get into that! I looked over the menu real quick and wanted to get a special drink! I saw the Chocolate Raspberry Shake and I knew that would do the trick!

Our waitress first brought us an assortment of breadsticks, which are from different parts of Canada. The pretzel bread was the best! It was so good that we just had to order more!

The one thing I was really excited about was the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and really wanted to try it, but I read on the menu that there was bacon in it. I was really hoping they just sprinkled it on top, but that wasn't the case. I had to miss out on the soup and there was just one vegetarian option on the menu, so I guess that's what I was having for lunch! It was the Marinated Portabello Mushroom that was served with seared basmatic rice cakes, onion beer marmalade and finished with tomato jam. I have to explain what it is or it just looks nasty in the picture! I'm going to be honest, it was not that good and the portion was extremely small. I mean, it was a mushroom and the rice cake had a very odd texture to it. It was not worth $15.99 and I would never pay that much for this anywhere else, but Disney!

DH got the Grilled Angus Chuck Burger with fries. I was not impressed by the looks of it at all! It doesn't look like any thing too great to me! DH had a couple of fries before I took the picture and I do mean, just a couple!

Okay, so the lunch entrees were not impressing us at all. I was a bit disappointed, mainly, because I had heard so many great things about Le Cellier and read so many wonderful reviews about it on The DIS. Well, we are going to have to disagree. The food was all great, except for the main part of the meal, the main course!

We had to order desserts after the sorry excuses we had for our entrees! DH didn't even really want dessert, but I told him I was getting one! After I made my order, he decided to go ahead and order the Canadian Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake! DH sure does love his chocolate cake!

I went with the Creme Brulee Sampler, maple creme brulee with carmelized sugar, and Cinnamon whipped cream vanilla creme brulee with carmelized sugar and Vanilla whipped cream. I love Creme Brulee and really liked this dessert! I also really like the Chocolate Cake, of course, I had to try it too!

The yummy desserts did make up for entrees! I really loved the pretzel bread and the desserts! I doubt I will be returning because of the lack of vegetarian options and DH wasn't crazy about the options on the menu either. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we are glad we gave it a try!

I'm a vegetarian as well and was also disappointed about the bacon in the Cheddar Cheese soup . I ate at Le Cellier for Thanksgiving and also got the Marinated Portobello Mushroom, which I really enjoyed. Ah well, to each his own! Le Cellier's vegetarian offering changes about every 3 months (?), so don't rule it out yet. Also, the cream cheese mashed potatoes are excellent. Let me know if you're looking for other vegetarian suggestions!!

And good luck with getting your wisdom teeth out. I had all 4 out at once, 2 were impacted, and honestly, after the first 2 days of sleeping/waking up for more drugs, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Vicodin is a good thing!!

Chip 'n Dale, are you following us!?



It was such a beautiful afternoon, so we spent some time enjoying the World Showcase! I had actually never been to the World Showcase during the day and I coudln't believe how much there is to do! There is so much beauty and detail in every little inch of the World Showcase! I can't wait to be able to just spend a day there looking around and shopping!

We were just walking around and I couldn't believe who we saw standing by the water! It was Chip 'n Dale...AGAIN! I was beginning to think they were following us!! We were running into them every where! The Boys couldn't believe it either, but they did tell me they promised to see them again! Of course, we had no choice, but to go say hi!

We got in line and the CM told us we'd be the last to see Chip 'n Dale because they needed a hot chocolate and walnut break. She saw the Boys and said Chip 'n Dale would be so excited to see us! I told her that we had already met them three times, since we had gotten to WDW and she was very impressed! I told her the Boys were becoming obsessed, but I promised we were not stalking them!

I think this picture says it all!!

Awww...I just love this picture of the Boys! How adorable do they all look!? Chip was taking such good care of my little Chip! Dale and "Big Dale" got into a starring contest! It was a tie!

Chip 'n Dale then got a little frisky and I think my Boys were a little jealous! Look how shocked the Boys are in the picture!!

Of course, it is a struggle EVERY time to get the Boys away from Chip 'n Dale because they don't want to let them go and the Boys don't want to go either! It was a fight for me to get Chip back, but "Big Chip" did apologize afterwards.
