Be sure to check the Disney site, there is often a coupon (so I'm told) for 20% off massages.
And I love the pic of the kitty...too cute.
Awww...I'm sorry you've been having a rough time!I completely understand how you feel. I'm up at 6:15 everyday and don't get home until about 6:15 at night so I rarely even make it to bed before midnight. I feel like I never really have time for anything. Especially during the school year when I'm in class two nights a week and don't get home until almost 11:00.
Ok, this wasn't meant to be a vent for me too! Sorry!Oh, and I think you have every right to complain about how tough your job is. I think I mentioned I used to nanny part time and 5 hours of that definitely wore me out more than 8 hours in an office. I don't know how you do it everyday! Hang in there!
Mmm, snacks! I always like the Mickey ice cream sandwiches. And last August when we were there we got these soda floats from Auntie Gravity's. I got mine with vanilla ice cream and orange soda. It was so good! Oh yes, and chocolate mousse from the bakery in France.

Aww honey, I know how you feel and I know how down it can get you, but chin up, think positive things will work out in the end, even if it takes a little bit more time to get there
Aww bless, lil Mickey looks quite comfy there
Great list of snacks, the lemonade slushy is delish. Here's a little taster of what to expect

Sorry things have been rough, but it sounds like there is light at the end of the tunnel... I've been counting the days until the boys head back to school... exactly one month from yesterday. And I'm sure DH finishing up his MBA will really help him get ahead. Like the others have said, things will come together!

Love your snack list!![]()
You need a vacation! Just keep thinking about your upcoming trip (and the start of the school year).
Your snack list is great! I may have to steal a thing or two off of it...
My kids and I love making Mousekeeping envelopes! How do you make yours? We would love some creative ideas for our next trip.
Blah! Hopefully I will start to feel better now that I got that rant over. Thanks for "listening".
I canceled our ADR for Narcoossee's and made a new one for The Wave. There were a couple of reasons why I did this. Number one is that we are now only paying for one TS OOP. Number two is that the time works out better for us. With a 730 PM ADR now instead of 845 PM we can head over to MK EMH that night. I am sad that we won't have a signature dining experience in some ways (especially b/c of the almond crusted cheesecake) but The Wave has been getting great reviews and there are a few things on the menu that intrigue me, like the avocado moose that comes with one of the entrees. I also was realistic with how full we would be feeling from eating three full meals a day and decided that DH and I could share some lunches and thus, not have to pay for any CS OOP. Making these minor changes is going to save us nearly $200.
Also, as of right now, I'm not sure that DH and I will be getting massages.I'll have a better idea of how much $$ we'll have once the time rolls around that we need to book them (only about 3 weeks out at CSR). I know that downgrading to a value would save us nearly $600 (even with the added $$ to upgrade from QSDP to DDP) but I'm not willing to sacrifice the atmosphere of CSR for something like Pop! on this trip b/c I want a more relaxing time.
On a brighter note, I've been making a list of all of the snacks/drinks I want to try. (Not including FWF.)
@ MK I want to try the...
Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich from MSB.
Raspberry Lemonade Slush from Enchanted Grove.
I've already tried and I want to get again...
Pineapple Dole Whip (no float) from Aloha Isle
@ DHS I want to try the...
Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writer's Stop
I've already tried and I want to get again...
Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar (I always seem to want one in DHS for some reason.)
in DTD I want to try the...
Make Your Own Rice Krispie Treat from Goofy's Candy Co.
@ Epcot I want to try the...
Kaki Gori from said cart in Japan
Grey Goose Slushie from France
I've already tried and I want to get again...
Chocolate Croissant from Boulangerie Patisserie
@ AK I want to try the...
Everest Avalanche from Yak & Yeti Quality Beverages
@ The Poly I want to try the...
Lapu Lapu from Ohana
What are your favorite snacks/drinks????
I want to try the funnel cake as well, I'm just not sure we'll get around to it.I love funnel cake, though! Yum!

Only 9 more weeks until Disney!![]()
Awesome cookies!!
Those cookies are adorable! My hands shake, so when I'm doing icing, mouths always come out looking like Pooh Bear's when he's got the bees in him, all wiggly.
Sorry! I've been lurking the last couple of weeks and I missed your post!
Yes, I actually was going to steal Rachael's idea! I don't own a Cricut so anything I do will be made the old fashioned way! Of course, I'm STILL working on my scrapbook...
Ugh, I totally feel your pain! We both make pretty good money and yet we never have anything to show for it. And on top of being frustrated over finances, I still have to actually GO to work for 8 hours a day (a boring call center job...which we're all getting laid off from at some point between now and this time next year). By the time we get home on a good day it's 6:30pm, God forbid I have to stop at the store because then we won't get home til after 7. Then we make dinner, eat, watch TV for an hour or 2 and then go to bed and start all over. There just is NO time for anything else anymore. Our apartment is an absolute disaster area and even if I had time to really clean it, I'm so exhausted from everything else that cleaning the house just doesn't make the cut. It's almost time for Disney!
We have breakfast scheduled at The Wave for a day on our trip! It got really good reviews when I asked around so I'm really looking forward to it. I know your bummed about Narcoossee's though. There was a bunch of things we wanted to do this time around that we just don't have the time and/or money for so we've already started our itinerary for our next trip (whenever that will be!)
I agree on the resorts....we stayed at POP in October 2009 and it was NOT worth saving that money, IMO. I feel that it's just POP though...for some reason I just really didn't like it. Maybe if we had gone back to ASMo it would have been worth the money we saved, but for this year we are going back to CSR as well and I can't even describe how excited we are.
The raspberry lemonade slushie is great! You will love it!
Of course, Dole Whip can't be missed! (I don't like the float either but my BF does)
I'm also looking forward to the Carrot Cake cookie from Writer's stop! I never had it before but I saw it on the Disney Food Blog the other day and I'm dying to try it!
I LOVE the Everest Avalanche! It's SOOO good and it doesn't taste alcoholic at all!
My favorite is mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone from Hollywood Scoops. Nothing special or fancy, but it just tastes so much better in WDW!
We got it a few years ago in the American Adventure pavilion in Epcot! It's REALLY good!
PS your kitty is SO cute!
CUTE cookies!!!
We are getting there, slowly but surely! I'm down to 78 days and I know you are even closer than me!
Mmm, those cookies look good! How exciting for your cousin. My sister's hoping to be applying for the spring program shortly.![]()
