Hey Wendy! So great to re live the May trip again - the pictures are great!! Emily looks SO LITTLE!!!! I can't believe how much she has grown. I think once you have another baby the first child just looks so big.. I know for us atleast I always thought Myles was so little... then looking at pics of him and Owen when Owen was born, Myles looked like a giant!

Ok- So are we in for the 5K in June???? Being overweight my whole life, let me tell you... that would be something if I could train and finish a 5K!!!!!! And to think f doing it IN DISNEY! WOW!!!

Lastly.............. I HOPE YOUR MOTHER'S DAY WAS WONDERFUL TODAY!!!!!!!

Eva is a little Princess. I love the one of her sleeping . I can't believe it has been a year since we were all planning that trip. Time sure does fly, except when you want it to .

Thanks Dana! You're right, time does fly, but I don't want it to! I want my baby to stay a baby forever!! Maybe I'll come home from disney pregnant again this year!!

I love Disney in May! DH and I have been a little sad knowing that we should be at Disney right now! December can't come soon enough!

Aww poor Emily fell into the cake. I do have to admit it is pretty funny, I would of been laughing too. I'm sure when she is older and you tell her she'll think it is very funny.
Eva is just a doll. What a cutie!!

We're still cracking up at Emily and she is laughing right along with us!! She is the biggest klutz, we get a lot of laughs from the things she does!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! I love your May 8th installment. I'll be starting my Disney 2009 days in 1 day. I'm starting with the night before we left. Today last year we were at my friend's daughter's bday party. Maybe i'll see if I got a pic of that and start today!!!!!

Emily does look so small in those pics! It's crazy how much they change and grow from year to year! I agree with you, now that we have Eva, Emily seems so much bigger. Kinda sad!

It would be fun to do the 5K, but like I said, you may be carrying me over the finish line or we could take turns giving each other piggy back rides!! I used to run track in junior high, but that was many, many years ago! These days, I could probably do a walk/run combo!! First, the Disney 5k, next the Boston Marathon!!

Today we headed to Epcot for the morning and afternoon to enjoy Future World and the Flower and Garden Festival!

We were leaving the Living Seas and I turned around for a second and this happened! Melty & sticky! Mike bought it for her knowing that he'd be eating the majority of it!!

After a great day at Epcot, the sun was blazing and it was time to head back to the Poly for a dip in the pool and to get ready for the Spirit of Aloha show!

As we were leaving the SoA show, Wishes was starting so we plopped down on the beach to watch. This is one of my favorite photos ever!

When Wishes concluded, we went back to our room and got a good night's sleep for another great Disney day tomorrow!

Wendy great recap! you sound like me with the ice cream...the only good thing about Ashton he can't stand to be sticky...but both of her swirliy's make such cute pictures especially the one on the monorail! and I love the picture on the beach the only thing that could have made it more...would have been her hand on top of her dad's...I hope you have that one framed!

Sunday, May 10, 2009!
Today was a very special day! Mike and I were married May 10, 2002, so we we're celebrating our 7th anniversary on this day and it happened to fall on Mother's Day last year! This may be TMI, but according to Eva's due date, this was also the day she was conceived! Who knew this magical day would turn out to be the most magical 9 months later!!!

Anyway, let's get on with the show! We had an early morning ADR at Crystal Palace so we could get some empty park shots, gotta love that!!

We had a yummy breakfast at Crystal Palace and ran into my DIS friend Amber (bertegirl) and her family! We would hang with them later on in the week too!

After breakfast, we headed to Adventureland where we met:

Jasmine and Aladdin were great with Emily! They were our best character interaction of the trip! They talked to Emily for about 15 minutes!


We toured the rest of Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and headed to Fantasyland! Here is Emily's MeeMee riding IASW!!

Next, it was time for our ADR at the Plaza, which couldn't have come at a better time! We were sweltering! We made it through the Move it, Shake it parade and checked in at the Plaza, just in time to see Wayne, Myles and Owen (my2disneyboys DH & DS's)heading into the restaurant. I stopped him to say a quick "Yo, what up?" and waited to meet Nickie (my2disneyboys) when our name was called. We sat down, placed our order, then chatted with Nickie! Her and I would be BFF's if we lived closer!

When lunch was over, we headed back to the Poly for a nice swim and nap, boy, was it HOT!

While we were napping, we decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary and upgrade to a lagoon view room. We called the front desk and before we knew it we were moving across the hall and on our balcony staring at this:

Time for dinner! We always eat at California Grill on our anniversary and this year was no exception! Views from the CG:

When dinner was over, we went back to the MK for EMH! We rode some rides and guess who rocked at Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin? Yup, ME!!!

Finally exhausted, we went back to our new upgraded room and conked out!

Monday, May 11, 2009!
This morning, we headed to DHS to ride TSM for the 1st time! I was sooooo excited to ride this and I was not disappointed! We all LOVED it & can't wait to ride again in December.

After TSM, we stopped by the Starring Rolls Cafe for some breakfast:

Next, we were off to see Playhouse Disney Live, Little Mermaid, TOT, RnR. We met Handy Manny, June, Lightning McQueen & Mater and afterwards, I was on the hunt for the elusive umbrella!

It was getting hot and we were hungry so we headed to our lunch ADR at Sci-Fi! Yummy burgers & shakes!!

Today was a scorcher so after lunch, we went back to the Poly to swim and cool down. Unfortunately, as we approached the pool it was being evacuated due to a poop bandit!! Even scarier, the quiet pool had also been evacuated because of pooh!

We played in the at the beach & fountains instead!

We had planned on returning to DHS and eating at Flying Fish Cafe for dinner, but we were ready for a park break so we just hung out at the Poly and had Kona for dinner, which was delicious!

We ended the night on the beach watching Wishes and the Electric Water Pageant!

Tuesday, May 12, 2009!
We started the day with a Monorail ride to Epcot for a 10am ADR at Akerhaus to see the princesses! Along our way, we said "Hi" to:

We stopped in Innoventions (I can't remember if it was East or West) to make paper!

Soon it was time to check in for our ADR! Here's a pic of Mike while we are waiting for our name to be called:

Ha ha ha!! Anyway, there was a CM blowing bubbles to entertain the kids waiting. Emily was having fun:

Finally, we were called in to see:

Emily was in Heaven !! We were seated and had a delicious breakfast. We saw all of the Princesses and I think Emily felt everyone of them up!! Mike was jealous!

After breakfast, we went back and toured Mexico and the left side of Future World.

We went back to the Poly for a rest and then back to Epcot for the evening to tour the World Showcase and to have dinner at Tutto Italia! This was also the first sign of what was to come for those of you coming to WDW next week.....RAIN!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the World Showcase at night. It's so beautiful with all of the countries lit up and the big fire torches! Ahhh, I'm dreaming of it now!

Wednesday, May 13, 2009!
This morning we had a photo shoot scheduled at 10am at the Poly! I was lucky enough to still get the $25 deal with the pre-purchase of the Photopass CD!

Emily enjoyed the first 5 minutes, then didn't want to have her pic taken anymore! Toddlers, what are you gonna do!?!



After the photoshoot, we went back to the room to change and headed to AK where we had a mini DIS meet with Brandi (BridetobeDisney) & Brad and their son Tyson, Amber (bertegirl) & Jason and their kids Jenny and Austin and Kara (kgle or toddlers mom) and her son Rylan!

The kiddos were instant friends, especially Jenny & Emily!



After parting ways, we headed to Tusker House for lunch. This is Mike's favorite buffet on property. I thought it was ok, but the only reason I booked it was for the Finding Nemo priority seating. We had never seen the show before because the line is always soooo long. The show was fantastic though, we had been missing out all these years!

Once we departed from Nemo, the park was starting to empty out and cool down a bit. AK always seems about 20 degrees hotter than the other parks, phew! It was EMH's tonight so we headed to Everest where we ran into Amber & Jason again. Mike and Jason rode together, then Amber and I got to ride! I love roller coasters and EE never disappoints!

Our next stop was the Safari which was fun! We saw lots of animals, even the elusive lions!!

Finally, with rumblies in our tumblies, we left AK and headed to AKL for dinner at Jiko.

We are definitely staying at the AKL in the near future. What a beautiful resort!

And that my friends, was the end of another magical day at Disney! Ooh, I almost forgot, we caught a bus back to MK so we could take the boat or monorail to the Poly and as our buss was approaching the gates to the MK, a car totally cut off our bus and we were almost in an accident! Fun stuff!

Oh yeah, one more thing...Happy Anniversary Brandi & Brad!

Great updates!! I am really enjoying reading about your previous trip. It is amazing how young Emily looks compared to how she looks now.

Sure, you got sleep on your Anniversary night... That's why Eva is around today. j/j

What a view from your second Poly room!

I have to say that is one thing I am least looking forward to my trip in September--the heat! I remember from our trip in May, that it was warm but I guess September is even worst (or at least the humidity levels are).

I am glad we live close so we can get together!! The girls love playing together. Lilian asks when she gets to see Emily. Hopefully someday we can travel to Disney together, or be there at the same at least.
