Wet, Sweat, Fun & Sun But You Have HOW Many Snack Credits Left?

I don't understand why I don't get alerts about your updates. I'm glad you posted that on Facebook. Everyone looks to be having a wonderful time! I personally love the breakfast sandwich with sunglasses.

The notifications are hit & miss I've found when following other threads.....I get notifications from my own pretty regularly.

We were having a good time. That was Anthony's breakfast & his shades......lol

Loved the update. I have to say there are some rides that I like better at DL and some I like better at DW. In some ways I think it is neat that the front of the buildings in FL are still like they were at DL back when it opened cuz we can actually see what it is like but honestly I prefer the FL in DL. I love the way the buildings look and it reminds me of Europe. I can't honestly remember if the Peter Pan was any different other than having more of an inside que but I do remember liking the Winnie the Pooh a lot better in DW. I still prefer the Small world in DL though. I LOVE the building and I don't mind the new characters from the movies. I think I like a lot of "our" rides more esp NOS (since they don't have it) because it is what I am used to and what I grew up with. I think the HM there is neat but I still like the look of ours better. It's funny when I go to DL I don't necessarily miss DW but when I go to DW I ALWAYS miss stuff about DL like the rides that aren't there etc. Again to me DW is more like going to a resort and I love that about it because DL can get rough esp being right on Harbor but there are def good and bad about both. then again there are rides at DW that aren't at DL that I love. We love Carousel of Progress and of course the TTA. Oh and you probably already knew this but did you ever read about the different types of grounds like in Liberty Square the light patch that wanders through the street is supposed to represent sewage like it did back in the day. Kind of gross actually but funny LOL.

They still do the Welcome Show on EMH days, just an hour earlier for EMH open. They do not repeat it for regular park opening on EMH days. And yes, it is a daily show.

Happy that M got her ride on WTP! Can't wait for pics of the BBB!!

We are too, just would like to get all the way through it!! BBB is coming up next!

The only time they don't do the opening ceremony is on early EMH (at least from my experience).

Nice!!

We were talking about the look of Fantasyland having the feel of Disneyland in the early years. The façade of Small World is definitely lacking compared to the grandeur of Disneyland's.....but I really liked the inside of the ride at WDW. Maybe because it was different from ours and so I was fascinated with all the new things I was seeing. We only ended up doing it once on the trip so maybe if I had rode it multiple times, I would feel differently.....lol

The Pooh ride does have some nice additions we don't have in Disneyland, so bonus!

I agree, going to WDW is a resort vacation where Disneyland at this point is no different than going to Knott's, SeaWorld, Etc. Even staying "on property" doesn't get you away from everything and other than having a themed hotel, it's pretty much like staying across the street. (just more expensive). I wish Disneyland would incorporate the Dining Plan.

We knew about the Liberty Square two toned street, I was going to mention it but didn't.

Thank you for the information!! It reminds me of the opening show they do in ToonTown at Disneyland. Which is now going away to make room for Star Wars......heavy sigh!

Mike & I took the girls over to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to check them in for their appointments. Addy, Jasmin & Shy were doing the basic package of nails, make-up & hair. We did buy a tiara for Addy, headband for Shy and a small tiara to pin into Michayla's hair. As I mentioned before, we didn't try this for Michayla because she doesn't tend to cooperate sitting still and having people mess with her hair & face. We checked in and a few minutes later, the Fairy Godmother's in Training called each girl. We went back into the salon area. The girls were seated in 3 different areas (we could have waited for 3 chairs together, but that could have taken a while) but we could see all of them. Mike and the Photopass Photographer started snapping pictures. These are Mike's.

More of the BBB transformation! These are still Mike's photos:

Now I do have to explain.....I let the three girls pick what ever hairstyle they wanted......Shyann for some reason wanted to have blonde hair.....lol

Aren't they great? Addy's the only one that doesn't have a w hat the heck look on her face. She looks like she's loving every minute of it!!

I think Shy's hair looks adorable!!

Addy loves being pampered and the other two just weren't sure what to think. It was new and they didn't really "get it" but they loved it when they were done.....you just won't see that in the reveals.....lol

Shy's hair was cute, caught a lot of people's attention....but it did remind us a bit of Cruella!

Addy loves doing the BBB, she's a girlie girl who likes make-up, dressing up and getting her nails done. She soaked it all in!! This is when she got the BIG REVEAL. The first ones are the Photopass pictures and then Mike's.

This was a new shot....kinda like it!!

These are Mike's pictures of the reveal.

Introducing Princess Adaleah aka Queen Elsa.

It was Jasmin's turn for the BIG REVEAL......not a whole lot of reaction. Photopass pictures first.

Finally a smile.....but only after telling her to smile.........(and it was only half-hearted)

These are Mike's.

Introducing Princess Jasmin aka Princess Anna.

Fun pics of BBB. We did it once on our last trip and the girls had a great time. We did the same as you and just had their hair and makeup done and I didn't even have princess dresses they just wore sun dresses but then we went over to the GF and had a photographer take pics. So glad we did it and it was so fun. I really miss them being little like that. Guess I will have to wait for grandkids to do it again. ;)

Do you think Jasmin didn't like it or was she just shy?

I didn't connect the Cruella! Who would have guessed that I wouldn't connect a Villain? Except that I just can't with Shy's beautiful face and smile!

Addy looks so pretty and she just revels in it too!

I get the distinct impression that Jasmin isn't used to feeling beautiful yet. Wait until next time!! The more time she spends with you the more beautiful she'll know she is.

Last but not least.....Shy's BIG REVEAL. Again, not a lot of reaction. Photopass pics first.

When we asked Shy to smile, she gave us her big toothie grin! PS: I loved her Fairy Godmother in Training as she was fun & very animated!!

These are Mike's.

Introducing Princess Shyann aka Snow White.

We took this one just outside of the boutique and before making our way over to the photo studio to have the girls pictures taken. **The photopass studio is just inside the Castle Couture

I'm a big meanie......I didn't let them *+*+*Glitter*+*+* the girls. I HATE glitter!! It's get everywhere & on everything and takes forever to get rid of. I don't think they needed it anyways.

So here's the breakdown on the BBB:

They offer 3 packages~ The Crown Package (make-up, face gem, nail polish, princess sash & princess tote) $59.95 + tax
The Courtyard Package (all the above plus a BBB T-shirt & exclusive tutu) $94.95 + tax
The Castle Package (all the things listed in the Crown Pkg plus a Disney Princess Costume with coordinating wand & crown also a photo package includes one 6x8 and four 4x6 prints) $194.95 + tax

We did the Crown Package for the three girls.
Addy's package plus the Elsa Tiara ran us $77.90 (she did the Color Star which is a trendy & colorful hair streaks twisted into their hair)
Jasmin's package (already had a tiara) $59.95 (she also did the Color Star)
Shy's package plus the Snow White headband ran us $75.90 (she did the Disney Diva with sparkling Mickey hair pins & ponytail hairpiece)
Michayla's small Rhinestone Tiara was $11.95

The other hairstyle is the Fairytale Princess which is a fancy bun with sparkling tiara & Mickey hair pins)

Even if the reactions in the mirror wasn't what we expected on two of the girls, it was still totally worth it to give them that experience. They were excited about their nails & hair and loved being called princess all day.
