Hi, we are hoping on going to WDW end Fed/Mar 1st time ever w/ 2 adults & 2 kids. I called Westgate and they gave me a total of $370 plus $40-45 tax for 8 days/ 7 nights w/ 2 Universal tickets which is like $59 a night for a 5 star resort (90 min pres). Is this place clean & worth the 5 stars? Any other off-sites for $50-$60 night that are nice, I don't mind doing the timeshare thing. Thanks for any help! ::MickeyMo

Which Westgate are you staying in? I just cancelled my res with them as I was able to secure a trade through II. Westgate is known for their incredibly high pressure sales approach. If you do a search, you'll come up with lots of info. They gave me a great rate also, and we were going to stay in Lakes, but in the end I just didn't want to deal with them bugging me or having to give up my time to do a tour. There are very few complaints on the resorts, though. They are suppose to be very nice.

Good Luck
Jenn

Thanks for the info! I also found another one to stay at the Buena Vista Suites for 5 days/ 4 nights for $249 plus tax. Is $60 a decent rate or is there a nice place to stay at w/o the timeshare stuff?
