No, it's not as bad as it sounds.
I just got back from lunch and got a message from Dreams Unlimited that DCL would have to increase the prices on the Western itinerary due to tax increases in Key West and Grand Cayman. The gist of it is that beginning April 10, 2004, the per-passenger cost at Key West has increased $2.63 and at Georgetown, Grand Cayman, it has increased $1.00.
So, expect to pay an additional $3.63 in government taxes and fees starting in Aril. Fortunately, my next cruise is an Eastern, so I can use that $3.63, plus 11 cents of my own money, and buy myself a beer!
