Western Excursion ?? Age For Stingray City??

Does anyone know if a 4 year old can go to on the Stingray city shore excursion. Not the dive,but the one that goes to the turtle farm and the sandbar to feed the stingray. I saw on the boards that the pricing is for 6-12 year old and adults. Does that just mean that under 6 is free??? When I went on the Grand Cayman tourism sight it just said that kids under 3 are not permitted. I sure hope that we can take our DD. She will love it. She will be almost 5 when we go. Thanks for any info.....

My son will be 4 when we cruise in August and he wanted to do stringray city.. The man at DCL excursion desk said they were very strict and that 4 year olds cannot go. You might want to consider what we are doing.

DH and DS (4) are going to do the tour that goes to the turtle farm and Hell and DD (7) and I are going to do the tour that does stingray city, turtle farm and hell. Hoepfully somewhere along the lines we will meet up.

I did find out that we can set up an excursion to Stingray City our
selves. They even pick us up at the dock and bring us back. I suppose Disney is the one being so strict about the children being 6 and older. I went on the Grand Cayman tourism sight and found some excursion company's that will take children over
3. They told me if they don't want to get out of the boat they don't have too. We can also set it up and hold our spot anytime
we like. I suppose that is what we will do. My DD is very outgoing and loves the water and I don't want to miss the chance to visit this place. Who knows when we will get back....

I am going in August and would love it if my whole family could go together..didnt realize a different charter company would have a lower age restriction. Also did it give any prices

THE PRICES ARE ON THE WEBSITE AND LOOK ABOUT THE SAME AS DCL. YOU JUST COMBINE TWO TOURS(HIGHLIGHTS OF GRAND CAYMAN AND THE STINGRAY CITY SNORKEL. THIS WAY YOU SEE THE TURTLE FARM AND THE STINGRAYS. LOOKS LIKE ABOUT A 4 HOUR TOUR ALL TOGETHER. YOU WILL HAVE TO LET ME KNOW HOW THIS WORKS OUT IF YOU GO??? I HAVE TO WAIT TILL FEB 2003. GOOD LUCK......
