Can anybody provide guidance on what tours are good on the 7 night western carribean cruise. I know my wife is really interested in swimming with the dolphins but I don't anything about it. What about all the other tours that Disney offers?

I know it is is early but I would like to get a head start on planning. My family and I will be going on the Easter cruise. We went on this year's Easter cruise and it was wonderfuil. Can't wait for the Easter Bunny again!!!!!!

Thanks for all your help

Definitely plan a snorkel trip to the Stingray City at GC, either with DCL or on your own. It's less expensive and more flexible to plan it yourself (but, it less convenient and possibly more stressful for some). The sandbar is very shallow, so you can just stand there with the stingrays swimming all around you. You can feed them, pet them, and hold them, if you're adventurous.

We were there on our 5/10 Western. Our DS5, DD3 & DD2 loved it. We prep'd them, so they weren't scared. There were a few older kids who refused to get off the boat. It was an ideal condition with sunny weather and calm water. It was one of the highlight of our trip.

I had to plan the excursion myself because DCL does not allow kids under 5. It worked out great, and we saved a ton of money. We went with
Native Way Watersports. They were recommended in several previous threads on this board. They charged us $25 pp for me and my DW. The kids were free. DCL prices were $45 pp for anyone over 9 and $35 pp for 5-9.

Hey Denvick-

I just posted my trip report from the 6/21 Western. It is long but I separated things by category so you can skip to excursions if you like.

Fellow DISboarders did the Dolphin Swim in Cozumel and reported it was awesome - worth every penny.
