Work today and tomorrow, going to Cold Stone Creamery after work tomorrow because from 4-8 all locations in Michigan are giving a free piece of Cold Stone ice cream birthday cake and free samples of their new smoothies to celebrate their 20th birthday, then Saturday night I'm taking Tyler to a baseball game. It's country night & fireworks night at the Lansing Lugnuts game and there will be pony rides for the kids and country music playing. I'm sure he'll want to wear his cowboy hat too!Lisa, love the grad pics. So Glad Vanessa got to enjoy this American tradition.
Off to Molly's friends bday pool party, then Paul and I cut out for my nephew's HS graduation. The kids are hanging with their friends today and then VBS tonight. Which they have loved. It's theme is Power Lab, everything is all decorated crazy scientist way.
Tomorrow the boys are going to practice for the race on Saturday. Molly and I have a day of hanging out. Afternoon brings a friends 4 year old bday party, then final night of VBS. Saturday the big race and then we have a school friends bbque at the beach in Santa Cruz ending in a bonfire. Recover on Sunday that's my plan.

Yeah, but I sure don't!But I thought Tyler does enjoy yard work and house work.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pay the teenaged neighbor boy to mow for me this weekend. He charges $15 for front & back, and that's SO worth it for me! I'm happy to sacrifice something else just to not have to get hot and sweaty and bitten by the spiders that like to hang out on the fallen branches I'd have to remove first.

Sounds like fun! Bummer it's so hot though. We have the opposite problem. Yesterday it only reached 61 degrees. It's been in the 40s overnights. Brrrrr!!!I'm so hot today. The kids are getting wet on the trampoline and I'm tempted to go out there with them
