Thanks for all the well wishes and calls while I was in the hospital! I cant believe I was that sick and they even had a infectious disease doc come and see me because of the cruise. I told them I had just gone nonstop, there was a big weather change and it wasnt an exotic "disney germ"'but since I do post op nursing they wouldnt clear me till he saw me. Im on 2 different antibiotics and I pity the people that were sick because it was sure no fun but feeling alot better now.

Heather, glad to hear you are starting to feel better! I'm so lucky I only had the stuffy head feeling a couple of days on the ship and was fine by the end of the cruise. I think you win the prize for getting the sickest...though not an award you would have been seeking!

.

So today, instead of being productive on my extra day of freedom, I slept TONS, rented a couple of GREAT movies, slept again from 2-7pm. Nice and lazy and relaxing! Dumped a bunch of extra plastic cups & glasses I never use from one cupboard, but didn't get any further than that. Attempted to pull weeds and planned on getting sticks out of the back yard and mowing the back, but didn't get any further than 5 minutes of pulling weeds and then decided I'd rather pay the neighbor kid $10 to do that. LOL! Will go ask him tomorrow on my way out of town. Yup, I'm lazy this weekend!

On your way out of town? Going some place for Father's Day?

Just taking a minute to do a Bobby Post . . .

We spent many late evenings in the Cove Cafe talking to Benita. On Mexican night, I asked her if she would pose with a friend of mine . . . she said "only if he is cute" . . . the look on her face when I came in with Bobby was a Mastercard moment.

Of course then, Suzi did not want to be left out . . . that Bobby sure is a popular guy! Oh, and BTW, he is drinking a POG.

Your definitly right on that one. Ill never live it down too because im rarely sick and always trying to talk people into DCL at work and now all I got the whole week in the hospital was "sure we'll go on a cruise just like Heather did" LOL
The only nice part is im not going back to work until the 25th now so im putzing around the house and doing some scrapbooking and looking at photos.

At one point, Bobby was considering DVC, but those member gatherings just seemed sooooo crowded . . .

So glad you are better and up to DISing. :surfweb:

Please continue to take care of yourself so you don't have a relapse! Let others help you the way you always help others. :laundy: Accepting help is NOT EASY!! But practice what you have been preaching for years.

Think of it as being a way to help you be a better nurse  as you will be able to tell people you KNOW how hard it is to let others take care of them but it is important for them to do it. (Experience talking here.:hyper2: )

Heather! Glad to see you here! Glad you're feeling better too.

I need to go pop in and visit my dad tomorrow. Not sure if he'll be home or whether my sister is holding a get-together for him at her house, but I'll be able to easily track him down. Just a quick trip there and back quickly though, so I can pick Tyler up.

Don't forget to continue resting though. You don't want this to come back after it goes away.

Heather, I had this crazy dream today during my 4 hour nap. You and Tom drove up here to give me a ride to work one day! :rotfl2: Not sure why I didn't have a car though. Anyway, it was the first day of a new job at an airport that was attached to a hospital. The hospital was a chain that included where you work. At the entrance to the hospital, there were pictures of about 9 people on the wall, and Tom said, "Look, there we are!" And sure enough, there was a pic of each of you on the wall. Then, I told you guys thanks for driving all that way just to take me to work, and you said, "Oh, it's no big deal, just a few hours in the car." :rotfl: Then I had to try to find my way through the hospital to get to my job at the airport terminal part. A nice janitor finally helped me find my way, and my job was AWFUL! I had to wear a jumpsuit like what the DHARMA maintenance guys wore in "Lost". And I worked in a cave-like place underground, shoveling coal onto what looked like a train track, then somebody would light a fuse and a trail of coal would be on fire all the way down this tunnel. Then I had to shovel the ashes off behind the parts that had burned. And just before I woke up, I was remembering you saying in the car on the way to work, "You really won't like this job". :lmao:

Yes, I got them on June 5 (only remember because Scott took our DVD drive with him to Vegas so I wouldn't look at them without him!). I still need to send Lisa her pic and DVD. I will look through our paperwork and see if they said anything about yours. I wouldn't think yours would be that much further behind ours. I'll get back to you!
Thanks Kaylee. Hmmm...I would have thought I'd have mine by now too, but I'll wait another week first before trying to contact them.
We'll make it happen!
:thumbsup2

Thanks Monica.....we had a really nice day everyone had fun and enjoyed being together.......that's the best.

This is the day that my mom was waiting for and she didn't make it. She wanted to see the kids graduate and become young men in their lives. My brother said that he knew she was with us today.......or as a wise little one named Alex would say.......they are angels sitting on our shoulders.
 Sounds like graduation went well, Deb...and I'm sure your mom was there with you
Glad to hear she is home and well enough to Dis!!! Give her our love. Or, if you're reading Heather, some love and hugs to you!!

 Glad you're feeling well enough to be home again! So sorry that you were that sick :worried:
