Oooooh, I love this! Well then, I must be a genius!I decided LONG AGO (when I was about 22) that we women have so many things on our minds that we cannot keep track of all of them. Forgetfulness is a sign of a clever, creative mind and a busy person. Only recently did I decide to accept the sentence I tagged myself with under my avatar.

Awww, Happy Anniversary!I will! I work all next week so need to get my swap stuff done before then if possible. I will post pics as I finish things. Sat is my and DH's anniversary. Since it's father's day I don't think we are doing anything but he normally plans that day so I have no clue.
love the pictures of John!
I know I have been pretty absent . . . lots going on, but someone warned me about this . . .
All I can say Ken is that what goes around, comes around, and somehow, somewhere, you too may be caught in pink tights.
Lord, how AWFUL!
Hope I gave you all a good laugh! As I told someone else, no pride or vanity here.

Good job on the more walking! I'm hoping Shannon gets a new job and we move to Prince George so I can either walk or ride my bike to work.
I kinda expected the "short falls" for the Wii Fit after listening to your description of it. Not sure why Nintendo does it, but they do and it has become a regular SOP for them. Especially up here in the remoter areas. I did speak to the Managers of the various stores, but because they are all chains, they have no idea what will come in and when - that is all determined by a larger office in a larger centre (read: Vancouver or Toronto).
We'll get one eventually. Our local Wal Mart still can't even keep the consoles in the store for any length of time - let alone a Wii Fit.
We had some fun with the Wii Sports last night. Shannon thoroughly kicked my butt at Boxing (that is until I moved the sensor bar to the top of the TV rather than below it). Just playing those games is a workout in and of itself.
I also picked up Wii Play because I wanted an extra Wiimote so we could play two players and it was cheaper to buy the game which came with the remote than to just buy the remote itself. Haven't opened it yet but a co-worker (who is in her 60's) was telling me how much she loved each of the games in that package.
I'm guessing I won't get much accomplished this weekend!
You WILL exercise more with the Wii - unless you are some sort of fitness buff. Just in one night of toying with the thing Shannon and I came back a little sore this morning. Which usually means we did something right in exercising.
Good luck with the geocaching. As I said in my talk, it doesn't take a big fancy unit with all of the latest gizmos to do geocaching. And a Garmin is what I have so it sounds liek you are set. Just make sure you register at Geocaching.com so you can keep track of your finds. As I mentioned in my talk I also suggest downloading GSAK to keep track of your finds on your own computer and to make transfering geocache co-ordinates to your GPSr much easier.
No worries on ducking out early. It went a little longer than I had planned and I had a MUCH bigger turnout than I originally thought I would. Just wish I had been smart enough to take some pics while it was going on!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask away. I'll try and answer the ones I know, and those that I don't I'll try and point you in the right direction. For the record, my handle when Geocaching is LFITQ.
Good luck on your search Ken! I have been actively searching since I got home with no luckOne guy told me the Wii Fits are selling out quicker than the systems originally did. UGH. I need one by Friday night for Jaide's birthday party...but at the very least by Monday for her actual birthday. I'll put out some pixie dust for us all!!
Good for Shannon on the boxing...watch the arms though...mine were sooooo sore the next day after I first played that one,![]()
Last week I bought a charge station for our Wiimotes. It comes with rechargeable battery packs that replace the current battery, and a dock/charging station that plugs into the USB port on the Wii. The only downside is you can't use the rubberized Wiimote jackets, but that doesn't make much of a difference to us. Nice part is not having to replace batteries.
I also saw on Amazon, they now have a rechargeable battery pack for the Wii Fit balance board too.
I've noticed how everyone in the UK still irons. People in the US don't iron anymore do they? I know that I sure don't iron like I used to.![]()
I do iron quite a bit. Not towels, sheets and duvet covers, socks or undies though!!! Most of our clothing says 'do not tumble dry' which is a big pain. Many you can actually tumble dry but they are just covering themselves in case something shrinks etc. I don't mind ironing really unless I have a big load to do or lots of shirts.
Carol, I can't believe you held out on this info all this time. Can you hear my salavating as I type???? My neighbor is a dealer and I have lots of baskets. Must be great to have it so close. Do you go to the Homestead Store ever? My dream...![]()
Who else was expecting THIS for dessert?

I am unpacked, washed and ironed, but many things are not put away.
Will I ever get this house straight?

John's look is priceless! And the guy on the right looks like he's saying, "DUDE, cover that up!"
![]()
And the guy on the left looks like he feels the need to hold onto his coconuts so he doesn't fall out too!

I shared these with co-workers because they had to come over and see why I was laughing so hard anyway, and they all were dying laughing! So........thanks for bringing laughter to our office today!
Flubber was fun.![]()
