I want better excursions. With kids you can't go a lot of places for 5 hours. You have to be able to move if something happens. Beaches are good. We had fun on CC. The kids wanted to rent paddle boats but it was so hot!

I had a little weep today. I opened my kitchen drawer and the little notepad with the chilli on it that we got in our FE was in there. Then I went into my bedroom where the gifts Monica made/gave us at Champagne Girls were at the side of my bed(thanks Mon ). I then tidied up the door magnets that I had brought home and realised that I wouldn't be using them again! That one that mentioned 460(since booking day) or so days just did it!

I cried today too... right after the UPS guy dropped (literally) the box I sent back from California on my front door step... and I thought I had room on the living room floor for it!!!

Sukie originally beat me at hula hooping.

Why doesn't that surprise me????

Tallulah believes that exercise is waking up from a good snooze, having a snack and then laying down again because she is exhausted from the snack.

But she tortures Sukie all day long... that is enough excercise...

And that's only within a 36 mile radius.

Expand that out a bit and I bet you would get even more!

I can't Ken... it takes me 14 miles just to get to the nearest town to ours... and 45 miles to the nearest hospital/Walmart... BUT... they did have one at Auger Falls... my favorite place. I can't imagine anyone wanting to crawl into that cave though...

We're looking into it, though Sukie read somewhere that one would have to be a resident of California, similar to the situation with MA.

Still, we're planning a trip out to DL very soon.

You now legally live in Steve's guest room. Just pack Mrs F and 1 tank should get you there... no prob.

Yes I was cold during the cruise. On deck watching movies I had a blanket and towels covering me up. All that you could see were my eyes. Wish we had gotten a pick of this but we didn't.

I am feeling better....but still have a little way to go.

DC has had bad tornados today and tonight. Gretcehn and Annie go to different schools and both schools had to go into "tornado position" or 45 minutes each. In the hallway, on their knees, with their arms over their head. No damage right in Centreville, but 10 miles away people did die!!

I think I heard there are about 1,000,000 people without power in DC Surburban MD and Surburban VA.

Schools in to neighboring counties have already closed for tomorrow. Fairfax County is still open tomorrow at this point.

Glad to know you are ok... Hope it doesn't get too bad for everyone and they get back on their feet soon....

Wii Fit.......Ian, do you just love it?! i have been searching for it since we got home and it is out of stock everywhere. I want that and Scott wants the wii ski to go with it to get him ready for ski season. Right now I still do Dance Revolution to get my exercise, but the fit just looks great...so many options so you don't get bored.

We played Wii Darts in Diversions a couple of times and had a blast so I've been on the lookout for a Wii! A friend just got the Wii Fit and I hope to try it out this Saturday.

Ken- I was just looking at your pictures and saw the ones from the scavanger hunt. We never did get to do it and I am sad as the pictures you got are really good. We will just have to take another cruise now. Oh and you daughter actually told me hello one day! I was so excited she said something to me. It was great seeing you around.

We had a blast with that scavenger hunt! You guys did a great job organizing it and I thank you. My DD6 had a great time running around doing it. She also really enjoyed going around to the various staterooms delivering goods. I think she just enjoyed walking around the ship seeing the sights!

We were a little disappointed we couldn't get involved with the Mouseadventures due to other committments (and of course now I can't remember what), but having done Jill and Matt's Scavenger Hunt helped take away the disappointment.

And if my DD6 said "hi" to you without prompting that is quite the feat. She usually doesn't say "hi" to anyone as she is so shy. It took her 3 nights to open up to our servers!

I was freezing in the WD Theatre for the Narnia movie - but that probably helped keep me awake for the prem-ear. My DD6 and I tried to go out on deck and watch 20,000 Leagues but she got too cold before the movie started so we bailed.

Yes that would be a lens that has a fixed focal length - no zoom.
I'm not sure where to get one in the US. With duty and such on things I order from the US I tend not to look there for big ticket items.

I got mine from a company in Ontario and I know you can find it on ebay from reputabe ebay stores.

The only real issue I had with it is that at 50mm you needed a lot of room to get some "larger" pics as it does have a closer focal length.
