but...I do have to rat out Mr. Wonderful (Wilson) we told him he could charge $20 to his arcade card one day seems he hit the wrong button and charged $50 (that does come in handy) we had a long talk and told him he had to pay it back when we got home (which he did from his piggy bank) seems they aren't ready for "everything" just yet.

I think he gifted a few games, but it's cool. He learned a lesson, he paid for it, so I doubt he'll try that one again any time soon.

Been a bit busy the last few days, so I am doing a quick post.....

Nan....that video is hysterical! I remember that day well and to me, Paul in the background is the best!!!!

Holly...great pic of you 2. sorry your trip was so rough...but it sounds like help is on the way for you!

We did leave the girls in the cabin a few times...the PC morning when they were asleep and 1 or 2 other times while we ran somewhere to get something. They were good about it and never left the room and couldn't get out on the verandah because the door was too hard to open for them. Next cruise will be better since they will both be that much older and independent.

Oh, and tell Paul I am sorry his ear is still hurting. Fungus in the ear can be so hard to clear up because it is such a moist and dark place normally. Hope the doc figures it out soon!

Alaska: I spent lots of time in AK, but mostly in November (when it was dark and cold, but not wet cold like here...so really, better than WA weather). In the summer, it is short and tshirt weather with a light jacket. The sun is usually out which helps to keep things a bit warmer, but I would say laying out by the pool probably wouldn't be an option. The sights are pretty amazing regardless of the weather though!

I'm wondering how cold it would be in the summer. I thought about it yesterday. I really don't want to have to buy a lot of winter clothes.

As for Brooke, she is caring and crying a lot because now she is worried about losing us. I use to tell my kids not to worry because we would be old when we died but now I know I can't say this anymore. This lady was only 40. She just got diagnosed in November so this was really quick.

I thought it was cold in LA as it was fine through the day but at night brrrzzz i end up bought sweatjacket of disneyland *** too cold since back from Cruise. As it remind me of Scotland. I forgot asking what the weather like in winter, spring?

I remembered that I went to LA in October as it was good hot weather.

anyway I am so sorry about Brooke classroom lost her mum that made me sad *** I lost my mum when I was only 18 years old but that girl worst. I understand that you had to explained, must be hard too. I hope Brooke will be okay soon.

I did crying at Walt Disney Theatre when Joey with Alfonso Riberio as he was singing by himself about boy with Daddy then he sang about mum? I brust tearing. Poor interpreter wonder if I was okay. I think just emotional feeling . My regard that my husband forgot bring the video them damn. I heard about Joey through the disboard last year. As UK never heard of him, so I. ANYONE VIDEO IT?

However at departed day, I saw alfonso Riberio near Lumieres and he was smiling and I asked him if okay take the photo of us, he said yes, I got it photo of us woo hoo but saw Joel with his wife and child walked past.

No, I never found it. But I applied for a new one a week ago and got it in the mail yesterday. Very fast!

his doctor said it was some kind of water borne or humidity issue, but his ear hurt the first day we got on the ship. He even went to the ship doctor and had it flushed and got anti-botics there too. He has been plaged with ear stuff the last few years I think it's just never quite gone (whatever it is) and it comes back each time worse. The pain is pretty bad. When I find him in bed napping in the afternoon I know it's not a good thing.

Look out everybody, you might be in trouble in a couple days. Well, probably on Monday. The computer repair shop called me a bit ago and told me they finally received the part for my laptop screen. Something called an inverter, whatever that is. Anyway, I'm dropping off my computer tomorrow on my lunch hour, so after I have it back, I can post all my cruise pics & video clips! WOOHOO!!!!!

thanks for the well wishes for Paul. That darn fungus just grew right back. He is dosed up on med for it and a revisit on Wednesday. I just hope the pain can stay away until then. He described it like a mushroom growing in your ear, GROSSSSSSS!!!!!

I just can't imagine it being so amazing that we could give up swimming. Plus we know two different families that went , that are our age, and they said all the activities on board are arranged for older people because that is the age of the people that usually go. I'll have to admit, I did leave him sound asleep one night in the room while I RAN down, fixed a couple plates for myself, and RAN back to the room! Bad mom.....but I was hungry and didn't want room service again.

nah..don't worry about it, one night I left my sleeping daughter to get a drink and ended up talking to people until 4am! I win...supreme bad mom!...she never knew!

It was cold here for a few days right after the cruise which isn't the norm for this time of the year. I don't know why. Right after you guys left it was 80 again
