Thank you so much. We'll be in WDW in January or February so we can celebrate by having dinner or tea at the GF (ask Monica).

Yesterday, when I posted, we had just arrived home. All I can say is we were numb. We're not used to things going wrong. Sukie said in the airport waiting to go home, that I normally plan everything with military precision, so he's just not used to stuff not happening.

As I said, we've been together 21 years, so we can wait, though I have to say, we were really starting to get excited.

I have to agree with you, everything happens for a reason.

We'll now just plan on California, after all, a Californian marriage license is not to shabby, is it?

We'll get yours on Rodeo Drive!!!

We'll also work on putting together a little Dis meet to celebrate.

So I've decided to be lazy and NOT mow.......AGAIN. Can you tell how much I hate mowing? And I don't even have a big yard! The front takes 10 minutes and the back takes 1/2 hour. Plus weedwhacking. So there're really no reason not to, but I just hate it. And now, since the back yard hasn't been mowed since my neighbor did it while we were on the cruise, I'm afraid there will be little toads and critters that I'll run over with the mower and that will gross me out and/or make me cry! I guess I'll try really hard to force myself tomorrow morning and then I can enjoy the rest of the weekend!

If you start by the house and mow back and forth, the critters will flee from the dragon (mower) into the garden, or under the fence.

Don't mow around the edges making smaller and smaller boxes or you chase them to the middle and meet them there--just what you DON'T want.

The way you suggested is exactly how I always mow, so that's encouraging! I just hope they move quickly! My mom told me I'll probably chop lots of toads! Maybe I'll just mow really slow so they have time to move, and I hope they're smart enough to move.

funny how they now think they "need" to have such a nice standard of entertainment. I seem to remember going outside and playing in the dirt with rocks and sticks and being happy when I was a kid.

Yeah... and I had woods in the back and we built forts and ran barefoot all the time... now you need steel toed shoes and a tetanus shot!!!

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for being so wonderful.

Eighteen months ago, all I thought I was doing was booking a cruise. I never thought I'd be making so many new friends.

Me too, though if I lived over there I would feel it even more as you can all meet up so easily.

You're all a great bunch of people and I feel honoured to have cruised with you.

Back at ya!!! But you know... you do give us a good reason to go to England...

How fantastic was it at the terminal finally meeting everybody. Just seeing people in the distance you had chatted to on here and seen a photo of. Cherie, you were the first, then Bubba and Venetia were just in front of us in the queue. It felt like meeting old friends. Wonderful memories.

Ever see the Muppet Movie??? There is a line in one of the songs that says...
"there's not a word yet... for old friends who've just met"

The embarrassment doesn't end.

I just got the mail and there was a card from the president of my synagogue congratulating us on our wedding. He and his wife also made a donation to charity in our honor.

Can you ask for that type of wedding present back?

Sukie and I stopped off at the synagogue this afternoon to pick up our supermarket shopping cards for the month. We also had to cancel our appointment with the rabbi (Actually, Sukie calls the rabbi Bunny ... get it? Bunny rabbi? Bunny rabbit?)

We were supposed to discuss arrangements for a Jewish ceremony, but that will have to wait too.

It was just so embarrassing, because people were wishing us "mazel tov."

Sukie told the rabbi's secretary that will have to put off seeing "Bunny" until after we've seen Mickey.

Ha!!!!!!!!!!! Just wait!!!!!!!!

I have a new monitor! Well, the monitor itself isn't new, but it's new for me. Somebody had a few extras from when they upgraded to the flat ones, and was happy to get one off their hands. It's still one of the big clunky ones, but works PERFECTLY! I'm so grateful to them! I gave them Tyler's pool last year, so it's sort of a trade I suppose. So now I can DIS anytime I want to while at home, not only when at work!

And to make my day perfect, after work, before picking up the monitor, I went to Cold Stone Creamery for free ice cream cake and smoothies! I had 3 pieces of cake (3 different kinds) and 2 smoothie samples (1 blueberry/pineapple & 1 strawberry/banana). Stuffed myself and LOVED IT!

Now I think I should go mow the backyard.

Now it's more like you have opened Pandora's box and you are stuck with us for life! HA!

And we're all coming to your house for Thanksgiving!!!

Thanks for caring......you are so sweet! I had an appointment with the wound care center when I got back the first week of June, but had to cancel it because I had the cruiseline crud and felt miserable.

Now that I'm better, I have one doctor's appointment for Ray, stepdad, to reschedule and then mine to do. I'm still not 100%.....I've been taking Imodium off and on now for about a week. Now I'm waiting for that to go away. It always happens to me after a trip.....my immune system is so bad that I come down with everything. Lots of rest will get me back to normal.

The CRUD may be complicating the legs and the legs may be complicating the tummy.

I say GO TO THE DOCTOR as SOON as you can. Tell them about the crud when you make the appointment--it may get you in FASTER.

You are no good to Ray or John when you are laid up.

Since being a CAREGIVER is what you do well, take care of yourself so you are healthy enough to take care of others.

So, Monday--EARLY--call the Doc, OK?

The Nat. Weather Service says it's been in the mid 90's, but I was driving out to my house today and saw a Time & Temp. sign that said 102º! Keep in mind that the elevation here is over 5000'!
