I have to agree. They should spend that money to get the word out about wearing insect repellent. Not only is spraying probably bad for us, but it can't ever really work. There will still be insects. Also, it disrupts the food chain. The thought of trying to mess with nature that much really bothers me.
Our city is spraying for insects, and they don't tell us when it will happen. It really bothers me since I'm pregnant, and I'd like to know when to stay inside while the bug spray subsides. I guess I'll just have to trust that my super sonic sense of smell that accompanies pregnancy will be my guide.
