West Edmonton Mall

Thinking of a trip next year to West Edmonton Mall and then down to Drumheller. Can anyone suggest a good hotel for both areas. Two adults a 14 and 16 year old?

How about Fantasyland Hotel right in the West Edmonton Mall? www.fantasylandhotel.com

The Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton is also very close. There's a guy from dh's work who flies in from a Satellite office and stays there 2 weeks at a time every month. He likes it there and his wife came with him once and said she liked it there.

Mayfield Inn & Suites is also close. They have a complimentary shuttle to the Mall. www.mayfieldinnedmonton.com

Drumheller. Can't help you with that one. We have yet to visit there.

We stayed at Fantasyland when we visited West Ed. It was very convenient being right at the mall. The room was large and comfortable.

I also agree with the Hilton Garden Inn. It's a short 2-3 min drive to the mall and close to all the restaurants in the mall area. I have stayed there 3 times and the rates have been in the $99-$119/night range. The hotel is only 1-1.5 years old and is extremley well kept. If you can manage the rates at the Fantasyland Hotel it's also a good place to stay. With the two teenagers, you can let them go to the waterpark,themepark, or the movies without having to drive them around. Sometimes the Fantasyland Hotel has hotel packages that include waterpark/themepark tickets for a greatly reduced rate.
As for Drumheller, I'd drive to Calgary instead of spending the night.
