Were you tortured by a sibling as a child?

My brother used to grab my wrist and try to make me hit myself in the face. All the while, he would be saying,"What's wrong with you? Why are you hitting yourself?" He thought that was SO funny! It used to make me so mad! ;)

No torture as a kid and I didn't torture anyone either but I did have a sister that tortured two of our brothers once or twice. I rescued them and threatened to tell mom so she stopped but at least twice she did this, we had a bunch of sand in the backyard when we removed our pool and sun would shine down on it and get it really hot. My brothers were still taking naps in the summer when they were pretty old (6 & 7 yrs). My sister woke them up from their naps and before they could get fully awake she led them out back across that hot sand (they were barefooted). They'd got to some shade but in order to get back to the house they'd have to travel across that sand again. I saw what was happening and carried them back to the house. The second time I threatened Kim so that put the kebosh on it. BTW, Kim wasn't truely a torturer, she just had an onery streak that would show up every once in a while. Most of the time she was lots of fun for her siblings.

Yes! My sister, 8 years my senior, would sit on top of me with my arms under her legs and tickle me. Because of the position and her strength all I could do was lay there and take it. I absolutely hated it and to this day if anyone puts me in that position (in a playful way of course!) or even tries to tickle me, I freak out and go into hysterics. I'm convinced I have PTSD from that!

Nope. I was the big sister. I have 3 older brothers that I bossed around, and 5 younger ones that I terrorized. :earseek:

I did everything from make my little brothers be my "model" in my "hair studio" (bleached one of my younger twin brothers hair platinum blonde, the other one I gave a Farrah Fawcett "do") to making my sister cry by teasing her relentlessly. I also always played games with them where they had to say the magic words, or do stuff for me, or give me their stuff. :rotfl:

I don't know I was so mean. :confused3 I'm much nicer now. :cloud9:

My older sister tortured both me and my brother. She poured a bottle of perfume in my eyes when I was about 2 or 3. She also threw pepper in my face one time. She would always talk my brother and I into doing stuff to get us into trouble. When my parents had our house on the market, she convinced us that if we dug up the back yard we could get to China, so we dug up the yard. I thought my dad was going to kill us.

I suffered from nosebleeds as a child and she used to tell me that I was going to have one during the night and suffocate on the blood and never wake up. She made me so afraid to go to sleep.

Now, she is my best friend :teeth:

I used to torture my brother. I couldn't stand the little brat. ;) (he's 3 years younger than I am). But now we get along GREAT. My sisters used to torture me (they're 7 and 9 years older than I am) and now the 3 of us are best friends. Of course, we never got along when we lived together. :)

OMG, I always thought tickling was torture. I never got what was funny about it. I still don't. I freak out too if someone tries to tickle me.

my youngest brother tortured me. He is 6 years older than I am and revelled in making my life heck .

Were the best of friends now though :) All is forgiven :)

my sister is 4 years younger than me. she used to bite, pinch, pull hair, scratch, etc. when she was little -- i still have physical scars. anyways, because she was so much smaller than me, i couldn't physically fight back. so i used mental torture instead. like browneyes, i had her convinced for a really long time that she was adopted and the pictures of her "birth" at the hospital were staged (after all i was there!). she doesn't look like anyone in our family either. i had forgotten about that but about 3 years ago my mom called me up and told me i had to tell her i was really kidding. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

anyways, we really did not get along AT ALL until about a year ago when my sis graduated from college. now we are closer, but still not best friends.

I guess that I used to torture my sister, a little bit. She is the older one, but for some reason our roles were reversed. I used to make up stories about how aliens were going to come and abduct her out of her bed at night! :earseek:

I took martial arts with the boys, so I think that they were a little leary about picking on me. :rotfl:

I think that my sister has forgiven me over the years! :rotfl:

Wow, are kids really this rotten? I'm the youngest of 5, and I don't remember anything like most of this stuff. And my kids would be up ****'s creek if they did it to their siblings.

THIS I do remember:

Being the youngest of 8, I've taken my fair share of torture, but being the "baby", I've also gotten away with a lot, too. The one thing I can remember vividly is, when one of my brother's used to get me mad, I'd start swinging at him but all he'd do is put his hand on my forhead and hold his arm straight to keep me at arm's length. Boy did that infuriate me. I'd just be standing there swinging away and he'd be laughing the whole time saying "what are you gonna do now?". Yah - wicked funny, ha ha. lol.

YES, i was an abused sister...my older sister by 4 and a half years older than me used to scare the crap out of me at night ..we shared a room and the bed and i remember many times when i would put tape down the middle just to keep her away from me.. she turns 50 this year, so its pay back time! :scared1:

I am the oldest sibling, and the three after me were way too busy beating each other up to have time for anything else. They have good memories of me. I showed them how to cook hot dogs on skewers over the gas stove burner and we had "camp outs" in the kitchen...I found a huge rusty old barrel somewhere and taught them how to barrel-walk on it...my youngest brother was running away one day (he was about 3) and he asked me for money, so I gave it to him and showed him the way to the local pizza place...when they turned 14 I took each one out driving....I'm kind of surprised today that we all survived, but my intentions were good. :p

I had two older brother (well, I still have them, but they don't do anything to me anymore lol) and one of them liked to have fun with me. They used to bring snakes home and try to scare me and my friends. I learned not to react, but my friends ran home. He used to tell me that there were spiders and snakes in the closet and would then lock me in there. Nice, huh? :teeth:

We used to also tie each other up as best we could and then see how long it took to untie ourself. That was kind of fun, though, and we did that to each other.

Nothing too severe, but childhood pranks. He's coming to visit soon (I haven't seen him for almost 3 years) so maybe I can think of something to do to him. hehehe

Oh, I forgot about this. My brothers also did this. They would also hold onto my ponytail and when I'd move away and it would pull my hair they would tell me that I was pulling my own hair. Now my brother is the one with the long hair--I'll have to try this to him when I see him. :rotfl:

Not siblings, but cousins oh yeah! I have 23 cousins total and 8 of us (6 boys and 2 girls) grew up in the same neighborhood next door to each other (rural FL). I have a hairline scar from my right eye to my mouth (thankfully faded now) where my cousin, Jaison, almost killed me (we were 5) . We were riding in the woods and he pulled back a tree branch (one of those really thin new ones) and it popped me in the face when he let go. I fell off the back of my pony and hit my head on a tree stump knocking me out. He took our ponies back to my grandpa's (like I said we all lived next to each other) and never told anyone I was hurt. My mom didn't even notice I was missing until almost dark a few hours later. My cousin finally took them to me and I had to be rushed to the hospital because of the back of my head being busted open (I was also still out cold). I got stitches in the back of my head (they shaved my hair too) and my cheek. For weeks my cousins called me Frankenstein! That almost scarred me LOL!! Then another time my cousins (Easy and Jaison) tied me up and hung me upside down from a mimosa branch then left me when we were called in to supper (we ate alot with my grandparents). With so many kids it took a while to notice I was missing and go find me (I was unconcious again BTW). These were MALE cousins and all but two were older than me. They used to gang up on me ALL the time...but I am not holding any grudges... ;)

Oh, did I mention they once SHOT me!!

I was the oldest so I got do a lot of the torture :cool1:
Lets see I remember hitting my younger sister over the head with my math book, she was walking to close to me on the way to school.
And I think I also left her lying on the gound.
But I think the best was when we were waiting to see the dentist and I told her that they had these big suction hoses that sucked your tougue out, and then I sat back and listened to her scream, and she bit the dentist. :rotfl2:
Then we relized we could work as a team aganst are younger brother.
When he got his head stuck in the stair rail we keep pitching him,Well he was already crying :rotfl2:
We also used to tell him that I was a witch and I could make people dissapear.
We would make him leave the room and then my younger sister would hide in the cloths hamper and I would cover her up with the dirty cloths while saying the magic words.
Then he would come back in the room and I would show him all round even lifting up the lid of the hamper. Then I would tell him that if he didnt follow are ever comand I would do the same to him :rotfl2:
But the best part would be when he would run out of the room screaming to our Mom,my sister would hop out and we would look like we were playing a board game we had set up and we didnt know what he was talking about :rotfl2:
My sister and I are best friends

Um, no....I was the one who did the torturing. Nothing major, 'cause my brother and I have always been very close; I do recall, on occasion, picking up a daddy longlegs by its longest leg and throwing it at him--he's deathly afraid of spiders or anything resembling spiders--when we were little, playing in the sandbox, and I'd decided I wanted the sandbox all to myself. Fret not for him, though--he was a biter, and somehow always managed to get his revenge.

After reading all of these I'm gonna go see my brother & give him a huge hug! I had it easy compared to some of you!
