Were You At Magic Kingdom Sunday May 16th??

Hi all.

I am looking to see if anyone knows ANYONE who was at the Magic
Kingdom at Walt Disney World on Sunday May 16th.

My family and I were luckily chosen to be the Grand Marshals of the
Share A Dream Come True parade.

I know many of you want to know how it happened.... all I can say
was being in the right place at the right time. It was on Main
Street towards the end. We were busy taking pictures of each other
in front of the castle when the Guest Relations CM approached us.

Anyway... the reason I'm asking is that I'd love to put together a
video of our 15 minutes of fame. We took pictures throughout the
parade, but am hoping someone might have video or photographs of us
in the parade. We were the Allen family from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

IF you know of someone (or you were there) I'd appreciate any help
in passing my info on to them to work out arrangements.

Sorry I can't help you with video or pictures, but I did want to say, "How cool was that?" Congrats to you and your family. I truly hope someone here can get you some parade footage.

Did you recieve any type of memento from Disney? Perhaps a certificate or photo? Please share some more of the details. I would be so happy to have been in your shoes!!

This is a memory your family will cherish forever!!!

Scott so sorry I can't help. We were there but we decided not to film it because we already the parade on video from our last trip. Have you tried to contact Guest Relations and ask them if they have any suggestions? You might want to try posting this to some of the other boards hopefully someone has something for you. Best of luck.

Yes it was an amazing experience. I know I will never do it again, so we were savoring every moment of it. Had the video camera on the entire time filming us waving to everyone, but it is from inside the car.

Disney did stop the car right in front of the castle and took our picture which they gave to us at the end of the day. We also did receive certificates saying we were Grand Marshals of the parade. Was very nice of them.

Anyway.... if ANYONE knows ANYONE who was there that day who MAY have photographed or video taped us, PLEASE let me know. =)

Hi, Allen family from Tulsa, OK! We were there and saw you in the parade. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures of the parade. I'm sorry! I definitely remember you, because it was my ds's 5th birthday that day, and we are also an Allen family!

I hope you find someone with photos/video.
