were you a geek in highschool?

Geek? I don't think so. But I was class president ( tech school ) straight A student, AV club, and a jock.... I wrestled, played baseball, football, and soccer... I also weighed 240 pounds, so if I was, I think people were not gonna call me one to my face.

But I hung around with LOTS of people - no particular group everyday.

if you were a geek what made you a geek example baind aid on your glasses and pocket protecter. how did you over come your nerdyness?

I do not believe there was anyone who fit that discription when I went to school.

And the really smart kids were all popular... so... I dunno what other kinda geeks there are out there.

I was too... but for some reason... no one believes that I was... for some reason everyone thinks I drank and all that stuff and I never did.

I couldn't agree more!!! And this is from someone who was NOT a geek! I guess we THOUGHT we were the popular, super-cool bunch....but, where are WE now????? I'll tell you where - most likely NOT where we wish we could have been at this stage of life!! I always wanted to be a Doctor, I'm NO DOCTOR, but I'll bet my life a bunch of those "geeks" in high school ARE!!! I have, albeit late, considerable admiration for all those "geeks" 20+ years later!! Oh, to be able to go back and do it all over again....I WOULD PROUDLY be a SUPER GEEK!!

Thankfully for me, my DH WAS a "straight arrow" (I kind of prefer this to "geek') in high school!!!!!
