I had to contact them about that - it looks like videos are only for people with magic bands; I have an annual passholder magic band but not a resort one until day 8 of my vacation!

Supposedly, they can link up my AP MB to MM when I go to Will Call to pick up the card. Hope they're right.

I hope so too! The videos are what pushed us over the edge, so I hope we can get everything linked properly to get them. We will definitely be riding ToT and 7DMT a couple of times!

Move is OVER finally; everything is here and I'm settled in, and I have my very first interview on Tuesday! Very excited to just be interviewing.

The kitty is still adjusting. He's an old cat, so I'm not too surprised. I don't think he'll be happy when we move to our next place, since he's just now getting used to this one.

I've never been cruising before! If I would go I'd want to go Disney, and for now I'm too caught up in the parks. I will probably go to Disneyland first, and then start considering a cruise. Are you doing Disney or another carrier? How long is your cruise??

Thanks for the good luck wishes. I'm just looking at this interview as a good stepping stone; hopefully they'll like me enough to call me in for a face-to-face interview, but if not I will take it in stride. Trying not to get too crazy over this job search thing, lest I work myself into an anxious state that carries over into my search and my interviews. Nobody wants someone who's desperate.

Oh how exciting! I think I would probably ONLY cruise Disney. And your first one as a 7 day cruise! You will have a blast, I know it!

I really, really like those Chef Mickey D&Bs. Completely out of my price range but they're pretty sweet to look at. I posted a pic of the purse I bought when I was there. Nothing high end, but it makes me so happy every single day when I pick it up!

It WAS frustrating. I was almost charged the MM pre-purchase price for just the three days I was onsite. Then the guy was kind of noncommittal about what was going to happen. Then I finally was like "nope no way get it off there" and he seemed pretty relieved that I didn't entrust my MM purchase to him. I called back and got a good one.

I like your purse! I like anything, ANYTHING, that makes a person smile when they look at it. I bought the Walt Disney World throw last year as a purchase-with-purchase and every time I pull it out I grin from ear to ear. I'm grinning right now!

I am starting to get really excited!

So much going on!

First, I went to the STL Cardinals game last night. I had a picture up of my dad, grandma, and me at the game, but felt funny because they aren't included in any of my Disney planning and don't even know about my PTR/TRs at all, so I took it down. The game was a celebration for my aunt's 80th birthday. There were quite a few of my family members there, we had a great time together.

Next up, I have my FIRST TELEPHONE INTERVIEW this week. I am very excited, it's with a well-respected company I would be honored to work for, so I am researching and getting ready for the interview like crazy. I would be stoked to start working so soon after leaving my last job, and my last job was a very well-respected company as well so I'd love to make a transition. Please, spare a prayer for me if you can.

Next, I finally got my birthday present - a Pandora charm bracelet, two locks, a gorgeous charm (all teal), and yet another Pandora Essence bracelet with a charm. Pandora is the new sponsor at WDW of Wishes (and also coming soon the Tinkerbell half marathon) so they will be making specialty charms for DL/WDW! I am excited to see what's new and I was TOLD that the charms were already out at WDW but would be coming to the regular mall-based stores in November; I am a SUCKER I tell you a SUCKER and I will buy whatever they sell me. Honestly, I only need a couple of charms to fill my bracelet out like I want it, so I could very well get those at WDW this trip! I am so pleased that I budgeted extra for souvenirs this trip; if they don't roll out that HM letter carrier as promised you can bet I'll spend the money elsewhere. Here Disney, have my cash. I don't mind. Thankyouverymuch.

We have started packing in my household. It doesn't matter if you're a month out, when a WDW vacation looms it's time to get everything in order to pack! I have my suitcase and carryon and purse out and being filled in advance, even though we're having summertime weather in STL and I'll have to wear all my old nappy clothing around in public because my good stuff is in the suitcase already.

Cards game looks like fun.
My father and brother went to a Cards game in July - they sat in the seats that come with all you can eat/drink (I don't remember what they're called in STL - in Yankee Stadium they're the Legends Seats), which was cool. They said they liked the stadium.

Pandora is very pretty; it looks so nice on, too, but I'm already falling victim to the "hm, maybe I just need to buy ONE MORE CHARM" mentality. I know what I want it to look like in my head, but if the Pandora charms are really out already at WDW then I'm in trouble because I know I'll want one of each, please.

Packing is definitely a sign that the trip is getting close. I usually start packing a month in advance so I'm glad I held out a little longer this time.

Busch Stadium is a great stadium, but I honestly like every stadium I go into. They all have their talking points.

Boy, I am sweating this HM Dooney. I just don't think they're going to release it when they said they would, and I know I won't get one if I don't get it there. It's not some huge deal, but I really wanted it. However, I think I'll survive if I only end up with the sketch letter carrier I want.

I love that your report has now gone in the direction of planning things to buy! While I buy plenty on impulse I also like to have an idea of what I am looking for ahead of time. I will have my fingers crossed that the bag gets released in time and you are able to find it!

Not sure how I feel about the Pandora bracelets. In general, I don't feel that they are my style BUT now that Disney is added to the mix I may have a change of heart. I will be anxious to see yours when you get the charms you are after. Funny thing is Olivia really wanted one of the A&A bracelets (and got one at Mouse Gears ) and at the time I didn't really care for them BUT seeing people stack them has changed my mind. I think they are really cute with 3 or 4 stacked together!

I don't buy much on impulse at all - that's why I PLAN. If I don't plan and budget, I will buy almost nothing, and that's no fun! I look at pricetags too much, over and over, and talk myself out of things I want on a daily basis.

Once I see if there are Disney charms (and if I buy them) I'll post a picture on here or on my TR. I'm not seeing an announcement by Disney that you can get charms there now, so I have a feeling I heard incorrect information. They seemed pretty sure, but it's like the Disney bus driver - maybe they heard from "a friend of a friend". The girl I was talking to loves Disney, however, and has a Disney Dooney (she was so excited to see mine; she had a sketch pattern at home and was carrying an Ariel purse and wallet that day) so she might be right.

I need to see the Alex and Ani bracelets on myself before I can judge. I have tiny little wrists, so I have never had a bracelet before this one and I've always wanted some. Maybe A&A would be on my list....

Lots of last minute stuff going on here. Time is ticking ever forward!

I made some phone calls to ask questions about our tour ("what happens if it's pouring rain?"), our MM ("is it linked to my MB already?"), my Pop reservation ("did I actually manage to check in online?"), and more. The trip is sneaking up and I am ready to go.

Packing is definitely underway. I may have nothing to wear until we leave, but if you look at my face, you'll see my "I don't care" look that belongs to this statement.

I had my phone interview on Tuesday and have never heard back. I don't know if that's a bad thing yet - it's a big company and they probably have a lot of applicants to go through.

I had hoped to be much farther along in my driving ability, but alas I am still only able to drive the secondary roads so mom will definitely be driving us on the highways. It's so... embarrassing, but I don't know how to overcome it. I feel like I SHOULD be able to drive on the highways, but semi trucks just reduce me to a blubbering mess. They can't ALL run into me, right?

Finally, I'm hoping I don't get sick before leaving. I usually have SOMETHING medical happen, be it a dislocated toe or a cold, so I have been being more careful as well as drinking a ton of fresh OJ every morning (squeezed it myself!) and taking vitamins, and probiotics for my stomach. Prepping for a Disney trip takes dedication!

On to day 9!

This is the day that the HM bag might be released (fingers crossed!). I plan on making MK rope drop just to see! Regardless, I'll be back to the room napping and swimming around 10:30 a.m.; I am SERIOUSLY just going to MK to see if the HM bags were released. If I already have one, disregard this entire paragraph.

I do not have any FP+ for this day because the system wouldn't let me make them - I can only do 7 days with my AP, and I have an 11 day trip, so that threw a damper on things. But I plan on making Epcot FP+ for this night. I will be drinking around the world at night, alone (boy that sounds sad), and there are a few Dissers at Epcot that day from what I understand, so I'm hoping to run into one of them! I can't believe Maelstrom will be closed for a Frozen refurb; I guess I'll make Soarin', SE, and ... Figment FP+? Illuminations? IDK.

Plans for DATW include a margarita in Mexico, the beer flight at Belgium, a good ol' Sam Adams in the US of A, and the glass of Dom at Champagne and Desserts. Yes, I'm going to pay $32 for a glass of champagne. You can't typically buy it by the glass, so I'm going to seize the moment - carpe champagne! I've been saving for a YEAR for this trip, you bet your sweet bippy I'm going to buy what I please.

Still trying to figure out if I can fit AK somewhere in here. Maybe day 10's morning?

Alright, wrapping up days 10 and 11.

Day 10 is a sleep in day. I have FP+ at MK this night, so I will probably lounge around Pop, swim if the weather is good, nap, and then head to MK for my BOG FP+ and FP+ (HM, BTMRR, and 7DMT!). I MIGHT go to AK this morning; we would have only done it on the tour most likely, so I guess I'll just decide in the morning and go if I feel like it. I usually don't spend more than two hours there at a time, so it could be nice for a quick ride or two on EE and D!, a ITTBAB jaunt, and then a bus back to the resort to swim and nap before a loooong night at MK.

Day 11 is departure day. For the very first time, I am going to ask for a late check out on departure day and try to lounge around until noon. I have FP+ for HS, starring TSMM, ToT, and Muppets (of course) in the late morning/early afternoon. My flight leaves at 5:30, so it looks like I'll need to get on the Tragic Express no later than 2:30 which has me leaving HS at about 1:30 - 1:45 - although I have decided that if I don't spend as much as I'm expecting to over the course of the trip, I might take a cab just to avoid that hour long ride for what should be no longer than 30 minutes to the airport! Of course, I am much more comfortable in the bus, with my fear of highways, so we'll see what happens. I will decide much closer to leaving what I'm going to do.

And that is my trip! I can't believe I got it all down!

My usual rule of thumb is to wait a week after an interview ... and then try to follow up. (Then again, I'm certainly no expert on that, so take my advice with a grain of salt). Hopefully they're just taking their time and they'll get back to you soon.

I love that you're going to MK just to see if they released the HM bag ... that's true dedication!

I may be the only one ... but I see no problem with buying a $32 glass of Dom. It's vacation, you can spend a little more to get the good stuff!

I one thing I really hate about DME is the 3 hours thing ... I know why they do it, but that's 2 hours I could be spending at the parks, not at the airport!

Sounds like a great trip ... I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!
