Were standard rooms available at POP during FD last year?

I know it can change from year to year, but just wondered if you had to book a preferred room if you wanted free dining for Sept 2007.

yes the were available. It took us a couple of weeks and many phone calls but we were able to get a standard room at Pop for FD last year. That is before they magically upgraded us.
