We're Now Camper Owners!!

I love it, congratulations!! When you were at the fort in December did you see the teardrop at the site beside the sidewalk to the comfort station? I was eyeballing it, walking slowly by telling the kids how cute it was, (giving it the construction worker once-over) when I came eye to eye with the owner who was trying to have a peaceful reading session inside. Ooops! I got caught ogling a camper!

Yep, I saw them. I actually talked to them and got a tour of their camper. His brand of teardrop is a "Little Guy". Very small, very basic. When I was first considering a camper, a standard teardrop was my first choice. Although the Little Guy brand is widely available and very inexpensive. All you get is a place to lay down on in the inside, a couple of cabinets, and a countertop under the hatch. There are many other brands of larger, better equipped teardrops that I would have looked at. I also thought about building my own. When I took hubby to look at T@Bs and he realized there was air conditioning and we both fit on the bed quite nicely. He offered to go camping with me!! I was SOLD!! It's only 1700 lbs so I can tow it quite nicely and can push it around on level ground myself.

I know, still no inside pictures. Yesterday was really busy. www.tab-rv.com has some stock pictures. (Clam Shell floorplan.) Hopefully soon.

I'm guessing ......there is not enough room in there to change your mind ..;)

wow!!!! nice..we dont own a camper..so a real stupid question..how many sleep inside and did you customize that?

It sleeps two and that is one of their standard graphics packages.

I'm actually planning on customizing it by painting the trim to match my truck and ordering some different graphics. (Those are just automotive decal stickers.)

I'm naming it the MOUSE-KE-T@B

Congratulations, it really is cute, we saw one at a camper show and loved it, my kids want one.....

Congrats! Happy Camping!
That camper is cute. I love the flames. Flames are cool! :thumbsup2

Wow, your interior shots are amazing! :thumbsup2 I've only seen other teardrops from the outside at campgrounds, and I didn't know they could get all that in there!

(Combining two threads here...) With your screen house over the kitchen end of the trailer, you could have a setup as great as a little popup, with a lot less weight. What a great Ft. Wilderness setup!

I am impressed!

That's exactly what I'm planning on, screen house over the kitchen, another EZ-Up over the door and I'll be snug as a bug :-)

I'm still doing Scout Stuff so will still be tent camping (leaving for Summer Camp with the Troop on Sunday). Congrats on Philmont!! Some of our Troop did a Trek there last Summer.

Congrats Carol!!

We just came home and there was a guy next to us with a t@b and it created quite a stir whenever the wagon ride or golf carts came by.
