We're not having a baby so let's go to Disney World. May 2009 PTR. We're HOME.

You are so organized and you are going to have a great trip. That ride down looks fun and comfy!:thumbsup2

I found some Disney Princess crayons at Wal-Mart, a $1 a pack of 8 of them. I picked up a couple for Julianna for our trip. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted some princess crayons for M.

I love Easter Egg hunts! I'm really excited to look for the hidden MIckey's with the kids at WDW. :woohoo:

The crowds will be better than Christmas, I wouldn't worry too much. It will a wonderful trip that you, Eric and M (and your parents) will never forget.

THanks. Eric's mom gave Madeline a 3 pack of Princess crayons for Easter. She got Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella. She was playing with them today, emptying and putting them back in the box. :confused3

Today it's supposed to be 70 degrees so we're going to the zoo. Until then we're watching ride videos on you tube. Madeline is very excited to ride Dumbo and in a honeypot!!

We got some walking practice in at the zoo today. It's funny when I see people ask about how old is too old for a stroller. In our case it's 2! She would MUCH rather walk. I think we'll be pushing an empty stroller most of the time. I'm guessing it will be used when we enter and leave the parks and that's about all. Without further ado some pictures.

Madeline saw the tram as we were walking in so that's the first thing she wanted to do.

Seems like we waited FOREVER for this thing to get going. Here is M like COME ON!

We saw this guy on our tour

actually it's a SHE named Abby. Madeline loved it!

We hopped off the tram to see the penguins and eat lunch. Then we hopped back on the tram to get to the dinosaurs.

Madeline absolutely loved the dinosaurs. I think she was the rare child that enjoyed them. We heard many, many kids crying. The kids thought the dinosaurs were going to get them I think.

you could push buttons and make the dinosaurs move and make noises. IT was really neat.

She needed to get a closer look ;)

Now I am extra glad that we decided to go to Dinosaur World in Kentucky instead of Mammoth Caves. She's going to love it. We also got practice being dumped into a store after an attraction. Let's just say we're going to have issues getting my little shopper out of the stores without getting something. We came home with a blow up triceratops and dinosaur mask. lol

Wow! What a fun day!! I think Madeline will love Dino World! I know Emily would, she doesn't scare easily which I'm thankful for!

Emily would rather walk than be in her stroller too, but we've been using it more and more so hopefully she'll use it! I hear ya about the attractions letting out into the stores! Emily will ALWAYS find something she can't live without!!:rotfl:

Luckily my parents will be with so they can buy stuff for Madeline. ;)

I'm getting a bit nervous about crowds again. I have to keep repeating to myself (in my head) that it can't be that bad!

Your Zoo pics are great- she is such a cutie!!! Did I ask you already if you are going to eat at T Rex? We are planning that for 5/11 (Our last dinner) I think the boys will love it!

I don't think we're going to eat there. We will at least look around there though and maybe build a dino!

I was trying to convince him to NOT eat there and just do the Build a dino because we are paying for the deluxe plan- but he really wants to go.

I think if we were staying onsite and had the dining plan we'd eat there but since we're not we'll be eating most of the meals we don't cook in good ol' Kissimmee where it's cheaper.

its actually NOT on the dining plan:headache: That is why I wanted him to pick someplace else! We are paying LOT"S of money for the Deluxe Dining Plan and we will have to pay OOP for this one. I hear though that the meals are so huge- I plan to split something with Wayne.

I'm slightly afraid of the wrinkle factor too since I don't iron either ( I think I've used the iron we got for our wedding 3 times in the 5 years we've been married). I've got it all packed so nice in the space saver bags though. We'll see.

I'm getting SO SO anxious to go. Last night I could barely stand the excitement![/QUOTE]

This cracks me up! I love to iron! My grandmother had me ironing pillowcases and handkerchiefs (okay, now you know I am middle-aged!) when I had to stand on a box to reach the ironing boards (which was wooden!). My son often irons his own shirts because his wife doesn't like to iron either!:rotfl2:
Oh, and she doesn't know how to sew on a button so if he or the DGDs lose a button, he sews the button back on!:lmao: Gotta love men that can do those type of things:rotfl::worship:

But, seriously, I don't pack my clothes too far out either because (1)they will wrinkle and (2) I am afraid I'll forget what I packed and will leave out a piece that I have to have that goes with something else that I did pack:rotfl2:
Hope you have a magical time!:cheer2:

Oh yeah I forgot it wasn't on the DDP. My memory isn't what it used to be! I sure wouldnt' last long at your story game (I already forgot the name of that!)

Ironing. LOL When I was a kid my mom used to make me iron handkerchiefs and pillowcases too. I think I even had to iron the sheets. So when you had to do the same I didn't automatically think you were middle aged unless 31 is middle aged now ;) That being said NONE of that happens in my house now. :rotfl: If I call my mom on a Saturday afternoon odds are she's ironing.

2 Weeks from now we'll be on our way!:banana:

One of the things I want to accomplish today is to decide what movies to bring along. I have a dvd/cd holder that came with Madeline's new luggage that holds 10 discs. SO I don't want to bring more then 7 movies. That way we can bring 3 cd's. I'm thinking of bringing the following:

-101 Dalmations
-The Little Mermaid
-Peter Pan
-Sleeping Beauty
-Toy Story
-Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
-Jungle Book maybe??

I wish we had Dumbo on DVD but we only have it on our DVR. She sometimes watches that once a day.

Last night I ran to Target and they had Princess stuff in the dollar section again. I got a bunch of stickers. Madeline LOVES stickers!

Today is going to be 75 so we'll probably do something outside again. Tomorrow is supposed to rain and then cool off again so we better enjoy it while it lasts.

I got a bunch of princess stuff too! Did you get the box of stickers that roll out? Emily LOVES stickers too! I buy her regular notebooks (sticker books) to put them in otherwise, they end up EVERYWHERE!!!:rotfl:

Yep I got that one and the set that comes with the sticker book. I had stickers all over my jeans yesterday from Madeline needing a place to put them. :rotfl:

Ok yesterday I got all the movies packed. I'm actually taking about 12. I dicovered that the cd holder thingy's are 2 sided so I can have a total of 20 things in it!

Today I need to research off site restaurants. I'm going to try to find some that have kids eat free nights. If anyone knows any in Kissimmee let me know! :)

2 weeks from RIGHT NOW we should be in Kissimmee!

I just found your pre-trippie. Your DD is adorable! You will have so much fun on her first trip!:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Less than 2 weeks now. . .
If you want to see Fantasmic and don't want to wait 2 hours try booking a Fantasmic Dinner package. We were really disappointed when we didn't get to see it on our last trip. It was packed and there were a lot of South American Tour Groups in the park. Our resort was really quiet though.

I am curious about the park numbers. If the parks are crowded but Disney's hotels aren't booked does that mean that there will be a lot of locals? Or a lot of people who are staying at hotels off site? What do you think about the Unofficial Guides websites and crowd numbers? I have a passporter but I haven't bought an Unofficial Guide in a while.

What is the Sunshines Gift Card?

The new van looks like a great ride!

The dinosaurs are so cool! Your DD looks like she loves them. Are they at Brookfield zoo too? I grew up going there and I still love to go back when we visit my parents.

Wave as you go through Atlanta!:wave2:

Sorry- I dont know of any good places to eat offsite.
That is great you will have so many movies. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD is good because it has a few extra episodes in the special features (at least the one I have does)

I can't believe how close you are getting. What am I going to do when your gone and I am still here waiting to leave!?:confused3
I will be writing to you still so when you come home you will have some messages from me. :)

I'm not sure if the Unofficial Guide numbers will be correct (I hope not!). I am having a hard time believing that crowds in early May will be 8-9 though!

Sunshinerewards.com It's a website where you fill out surveys and other things and can also shop through them and earn reward points.

The dinosaur are at Brookfield zoo until October. They are really neat. Next time we go I think I"ll be leaving my camera at home. I want to just enjoy it for once. :)

I'll wave to you when we drive through Atlanta. It will probably be somewhere between 5pm and 8pm.

Sorry- I dont know of any good places to eat offsite.

Oh YAY I'm glad i"ll have some messages when I get back. Although I may give brief updates of our trip as we go since we'll have internet at the condo. I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to hit the grocery store tomorrow for what should be our last shopping trip before vacation! I have to remember to pick up cat litter and food. :woohoo:
