We're not having a baby so let's go to Disney World. May 2009 PTR. We're HOME.

We had Madeline's 2 year pictures today. She was so serious. The photographer said that was normal for 2 year old. Great. At her 18 month photo shoot she finally listened to instructions and looked so cute. I guess I should just get used to it.

Since we were already at the mall I had some more shopping to do. I found Madeline some water shoes at Pay less for $8. Check that off my list- Eric and I already have some. Then I found her birthday card. It has Ariel on it and 2. They also had their ornaments for 70% off and had quite a collection yet.

Then we ate lunch at Panera (yum!) then off to the Disney store we went. They had a bunch of specials. One of them was buy $25 and get the Thumper plush for $5. They also had 2 for $25 Princess dolls a la Barbie. SO I got her an Arial and Snow White and the Thumper plush. :cool1: Then while I was in line to pay she decided to puke. Fun times.

Morning everyone.

Wasn't Lost good last night? It did seem to move pretty slowly though.

Anyway I think today I'm going to look into getting Eric a couple new T-shirts. I haven't really bought him any new ones in 6 years so I think it's time.

I put all of Madeline's clothes in the suitcase last night. I think we may get away with using just the one giant suitcase and a small duffle. It's MUCH easier packing for a 2 year old vs. a 10 month old! We don't have to pack any formula, baby food, bottles (although we still need sippy's) or any paraphinelia besides the umbrella stroller.

I think we're going to watch Peter Pan today (Madeline is still sick).

I hope your little one is feeling better! I love movie days though. I think we may have one today since it is raining and we cant go anywhere. Reese is obsessed with dogs right now, so I've seen 101 dalmations about 101 times! I'm gonna see if my mom will buy her Bolt today so maybe I can get a break.

Madeline loves dogs too. We watched 101 Dalmations yesterday. I just put Lady and the Tramp on our netflix list. :)

I hope Madeline is feeling better soon!:lovestruc Emily has been on a Sleeping Beauty kick lately. I've seen it at least 1,345,268,458 times!!!

haha! I think we've watched Pinochio and Little Mermaid that much. We have peter pan on right now but M doesn't seem very interested.

I'm SO tempted to book free dining! I'm not sure it's worth it with just 1 adult and a 2 year old. IF I could get my sister to come then we'd save $80 a day vs. $40 and with 2 people's food to share madeline would probably not go hungry. I wish that you didn't have to buy tickets to get the free dining. That would really convince me!

I agree! You should be able to book dining with your resort stay!

I think getting the free dining would be great, but if you got a 40% off PIN for your room, that would be even better! I bet you could book a bounceback during free dining once you arrive in May and save on the room.:confused3

We're not staying on site in May so no bounceback. I think I'm just going to have to hold out for a PIN or AP discount.

Lost was really good- I was thinking that was going to happen at the end BUT what does this mean now? I guess everything changes!

Taget has great T-Shirts for men- $6-$15.00 (Wayne my DH loves the graphic Tees)

Friday night we are doing Peter Pan for Disney Night this week! I need some ideas for food- so if you see anything in the movie today that may be good, let me know.

Well Peter Pan has a lot of food choices. You could pretty much anything- pirates, flying (maybe build paper airplanes???), fish because there are mermaids. I'm so bad with planning food. Tinkerbelle is there so you could do really small foods. lol

Lost is my favorite show. I dont' think Ben is really dead though.

They love the twists- so he probably isn't dead although he sure did look it. I felt bad for him last night- his dad was so mean! (I can't believe how much that kid looks like the real Ben- CREEPY!)

Good Ideas for PP. I will let you know how it turns out.

Yes his dad makes you actually feel sorry for him. I'm still hoping we get to see Annie again! We also got more time line last night. Ben said he met Richard 4 years ago so he came to the island in 1973- 1 year before Sawyer ect. flashed there.

Happy Friday! 36 days to go. 5 weeks from today I'll be finishing up the packing and getting a pedicure! I'm hoping the pretty feet will distract from the extremely pale skin I'll be sporting. :rotfl2:

Madeline is getting very excited to go to Disney. Every time we see anything related to Disney she gets very excited and asks if it will be at Disney with us.

I need to find us a hotel to stay in on the 2nd. Maybe I'll try to do that today.

this is great- My husband loves to give me all these things he catches on to. I am going to see if he noticed this!!

ok so he already knows this, he wanted to mention that when Sayid kills the Russian guy in Moscow, when he walks out of the building it says "oldham Pharmaceuticals" this is the guy who tortured him at the end on the island!

Nice catch! I did not notice that. Now I"ll have to watch it yet again.

Ok I'm freaking out a little bit. Touringplans has changed the crowd levels to 8's and 9's while we're at Disney. OMG I convinced my family to go at that time of year because it was supposed to be lightish crowd wise.

We've been at Christmas before and they never really complained (although Eric has never been when it's that busy he'll probably freak out majorly! he doesn't handle crowds well) but I'm still really nervous about it.

I really hope the predictions are wrong!

At this time 5 weeks from now we will be well on our way to Disney. We'll be stopping in Kentucky around 11/11:30 am to see Mammoth caves. I can't wait!

Today is Madeline's party. My parents will be here around 10:30 but the party isn't until 3pm. I'll show you all pictures tomorrow.

I hope Madeline loves her party! Good luck with everything. Mammoth Caves? I think Wayne and I stopped there on our Honeymoon. We had drove to California from Boston and that sounds really familiar!
